LIEberman using a bit of extortion to make sure he gets what he wants from the dems.

LIEberman has flip flopped more time in his career than even Jon Carry.

He was conservative on social issues until he was the Veep candidate. Before that he stood on the senate floor and read a statement against slick willie, only to end the speech with an endorsement of slick willie.

LIEberman was an orthodox jew until he became an observant jew. Campaigned on Saturdays this time too.

He'll no more caucus with the repubs than the man in the moon.

I agree Lieberman is a Dem through and through and is just saying what he is at present to get the best position possible from Harry Reid and co.

Hear, hear on all of your observations re: Lieberman.

I would also posit that all of the so-called "conservative dems" that the MSM have tried to convince us have been elected...are no more conservative than any of the dems...but, anything to get elected is the way to go.

Hey..if you change your whole philosophy after taking office, no big deal...after all these guys are SO above us and so clever...that American people will never notice that we snookered them, right?

Lieberman ran for Veep and Senator in the same election year. In Connecticut he ran on one platform, nationally standing next to Algore he ran on a different set of values - in the same election.
