We could do it on a blog or on a series of blogs, maybe state by state. We could get volunteers to keep up with specific people. There's 535 members of congress so that would be not an overwhelming task. I bet we have somebody in almost every House district and I'm certain we have to have someone from every state.

A searchable database would certainly be the best approach. Maybe one of the political blogs, such as RedState or TownHall, that offer free space would be willing to work with us to set this up.

My sense is there would have to be some oversight so someone does not post something not acceptable. I'm thinking of one or more people per state who would be willing to verify the news account before posting it. That would mean enlisting someone per state as a contact person.

PHP or XML would probably be the best for searching it but Excel would work too since most people don't have the ability to use the former. If it's done by state, there would only need to be 50 posters instead of 535. In otherwords, make the list by state and fill in the blanks. Anohter method could be a blog format but that could really get long over two years.

I'm not trying to make this difficult but it has to be credible to be successful. Town Hall or even Media Research Org might be willing to host it too as long as it maintains accuracy and credibility. If done, it would be a good source for FR posters to add to complaints on individuals.

To be honest with you, I think you are more qualified to do this than me or anyone else. What do YOU suggest?

We could call it the "Accountability Project" and list it on FR anyway. Then, just add the states in a list and ask for people to add information.

What about that? It might be forced into the vanity area but it might be worth a try.
