#868, I would not defend Karl Rove on his choices except for one thing. He has been a serious target for the last three years,and has been hampered by that. I don't think that even Karl Rove knew the hateful,scratching,biting and kicking the Anti-American rats would do to our Country and Soldiers to get back their power. I believe they would kill their own Mothers if they stood in the way. They have no scruples,no ethics and no Love for anything except themselves.

#869, thank you for doing that search, it was very informative. We all need some lightness and levity at times. I come from a Family that was large and My Mom was a very funny Lady who encouraged a sense of humor in all of us. Most of us that are now Pubbies still have that great sense of humor,but the Dems are all rags,with BDS, and RDS. I am lucky to have many friends that are like my Family and they are my Republican Women Friends. We had a Board meeting scheduled for Weds after the Election,and we got business done,vented our frustration, and laughed though out the entire meeting except for the blessing. It was great...

A lot of headscratchers, for sure. Sandy Berger, not at least doing a serious investigation into the purchased, last minute, pardons from the Clinton's. I thought he was really trying to mend bridges by naming Billie Boy to the Tsumani Charity along with #41, but then Clinton actually got nastier toward the war and anything else #43 and then what does he do, names Clinton to Katrina.

The biggest disappointment in the loss this week was we won't get another conservative SCOTUS. No chance with the people that will be running the committees. We'll be lucky if they even give a hearing for most candidates before they Bork them.

#872, I agree I believe most of us want secure Borders, legal immigrants with limits, and that very long fence built asap. Latins do make good Republicans. In the 10th Hour of my 12 at my Precinct on Tuesday, a Young Hispanic man came up to where I was waving and gesturing to vote for all my pubbies. He was in a County truck with Work clothes on and he smiled broadly and boasted that he was a Re-pooblican,and he had voted a straight republican ticket. I was as happy as he was,and I really felt great like we were really accomplishing things. You could not wipe the smile off my face for hours. I also talked a NPA into voting for all the Republicans,and dumping the Dem judges. I even talked a Dem into splitting her ticket the other day by just engaging her in pleasant conversation. She knew Republicans did not have two heads because I only have one. LOL!

No.. we start complaining to their sponsers. All of and often.. and, we quit watching CNN and MSNBC, even out of curiosity to see how bad they can be... We don't give them the ratings, they won't get the advertisers.

I'm actually beginning to see the merit in some form of media in Free Republic. Free Republic newspapers? Free Republic Radio? Free Republic television?

How could we even begin to afford it?

#893, it will be our Freepers and GOP that will win our Super Bowl like victory in Nov 2008. It is too bad that the 2007 SuperBowl is in Miami,not the 2009 Superbowl, we could have a freeper party at Rodguys Place.

I have not watched CNN or MSNBC for years! Now I have stopped watching Fox. I will listen very selectively to talk radio and read the internet very selectively from now until something changes. It was very liberating to avoid all the Sunday shows today.

I have read this whole thread, and maybe 5 posts have remarked on anything that was said by anyone on those shows today.

This time around we all have to ask ourselves:

Can he beat Hillary and the Clinton machine.... how well can he do against Hillary in the debates? This is where too many American's will learn anything at all about either candidate.

#898, I wonder if Kristol after engineering Jeffords to Jump, also engineered the Pubbies to diss him and threaten to keep him out of their Quartet singing "elvira",and after they took power again refused to let him back with them. He (Jeffords) went off the deep end into dementia pretty fast after that. Kristol is a manipulating fool. Really sad how I wanted to punch out Jeffords selfish lights,now all I feel is pity.

He repeated on the air the story that Fords father called Corker a "Cracker" (actually it sounded like cracker to me, too) and the Ford camp complained and said it was "Tracker" so as appology Sean invited him on the show and on H&C...

Personally, it was another case of Sean bending over. Sometimes I think because ABC carries his radio show he is afraid to say and do anything to offend them.
