NOW is the time we really need to keep up with what the critters are up to...right??Yes, my dear. There will be lots and lots of spinning about all of the good things the dems are trying to do for the "American people" and how the evil Pubbies are stopping them. We will see, as we have in the past, what those "good things" are (spend, spend, spend) and coordinate with Alas and Phsstpok and the Jedi council and figure out a way to get the word out.

I can see they are going to give "fair" coverage to hillary in her runup to 2008 and I WILL NOT give them any ratings. The trouble with Fox is that they always let dems talk over and interrupt conservatives and never stop it. It makes me crazy.
To: MNJohnnie
Good to hear from yo MNJ and thanks again for the stellar job you do on the Rush threads.
I think we all realize that we may have a tough couple of years ahead but at the end lies the Presidency and both houses back on our side.

A friend in Idaho emailed me election day that he had voted for a dem "to teach a lesson." I felt like I had been kicked in the gutt. This isn't an uninformed individual, which made it all the worse. If it had been I could almost (not quite, but almost) accept the action, but being informed and doing so I'm still trying to wrap my mind around.

It's not required reading you can skip over it if you like.

Me, too... I can still stand Fox in smaller doses, CNN and MSNBC are off my radar, especially after Wolf Blitzer hijacked the Lynn Cheney intervew...

I'm sure Sean knows but Hannity is a rare breed who can get along with most all the talkies, it's not a bad move. At the rate he is going Sean's numbers will be equal to Rush in a few more years, he's number 2 now and very close.

#502, I could not agree with you more on this. I am sure that Graham will not make it through his Primary, and he will be a very small part of history. I think may of these So called Conservative Democrats elected because they basically ran as Republicans will be an asterisk in History and will be gone in 2 years. Pelosi may try to let them vote with the Republicans a few times to try to keep their seats, but we will be documenting every time they vote, speak or go to the Bathroom in a Democrat lib way(hitting the wall missing the target all together) ROTFLOL!!!!!

True but remember it only takes a DNC fax for the Dems to change on a dime.

Sean worked very, very hard for the GOP this election, we should all be grateful for the time he took from his family trying to do what he could. (of course, being away from Alan a lot the last month was probably pretty appealing as well).
To: rodguy911
No but I tell you who is inevitable now. Newt. He is the only articulate, smart, quick thinking political tactician we got. He is a pain in the butt but he is OUR pain in the butt. It is not McCain who is "inevitable" now, it is Newt.
So where some place Newt will be back. If only to say "I told you so". He told them they had to make an agenda but the Republican Leadership decided to "play it safe"
Where oh where is Newt gone? Where or where can he be?

That's a great question, but truth is there are so many rats to look into they many not have staff for it all.

What I'd like to know, why hasn't justice investigated Soros? The Justice Dept of Alberto Gonzales investigates no one.

Newt is the conscience of the Republican party no doubt and he is brilliant! If we were pitching Newt to a country full of FReepers he would win in a minute.

Newt is one of the greatest minds in our party and when he was the leader of the party he could be very tough when need be. The fragmented status of the party shows how badly we need a leader that can pull it together, with an iron glove when necessary.
To: Arizona Carolyn
He really was a leader and had so many great people on his show, he tried harder than anyone IMHO.

You may be correct, but I'm thinking it may be because so many still working at justice are Clintonista's and have no interest in investigating Soros or anything Dem.
To: Fishtalk
I apologize that my tone was harsh, but to me to say the President can command press attention whenever he wants is just plain wrong. We have multiple examples of his speeches being totally ignored by the networks.
You can talk at that bully pulpit all day, but if no one broadcasts it, you are simply wasting your time.
