Thank you for saying it better than I could. You are so right about the sports reporters and talk hosts. Vicious losers who always think they could do a better job.
No different than our own right wing talkers.

I wish I had saved the link now, but there was a thread here on FR a day or so ago that linked an article that one of the last thing the GOP Congress did before leaving to campaign was basically give the President permission to use money for the wall in any way he sees fit and not particularly on a wall... in otherwords, they approved a wall to great fan-fare to appease the voters and then basically took it away in the dark of night.
It's these late night on Thursday bills that always seem to screw the American voters and we almost never hear about them until it's too late.

Dang...just read that post again...and I messed up big time.
The second sentence was supposed to be: "maybe her thoughts aren't YOURS, but to insinuate..."
sorry again. I am going to stop now...while I am behind.

Now .. I'm just a tad bid suspicious. Go back to the list and go to Pg. 5 .. in the 29/71 range. H. J. Heinz?? What the ,,,?

Good for you. That list is pretty disconcerting. If there was enough of us to do that maybe we could make a difference; I am convinced the power lies with the consumer over the MSM.
To: Arizona Carolyn
I didn't see the thread...but I know what you are talking about.
The fence was in one bill...but, the funding, IIRC, was in the Homeland Security Bill...and did leave the appropriated money in an ambiguous state...not specific.
AC...I watch a lot of C-span when the House and Senate are in session, as do a lot of other freepers...and we all get disgusted with the "off screen" deals that are made.
We watch the debates...and the votes...but when we read the final product...we are always surprised to see things that we never heard discussed on the Senate or House floors.
BUT, I think that Sen. Coburn, and maybe Obama, may have fixed that with a bill to make ALL legislation available on the internet.. ALL of it, even earmarks, before the vote...so that we the people can read them...and voice our opinions to the Congresscritters BEFORE they vote.
I don't know for sure if it passed yet...I pray so..because I am not sure that it would pass and DEM congress.

I wish Fox would get rid of Bill Kristol. I understand they received so many complaints about Wesley Clark from viewers (after he made that horrible commercial a few weeks ago) that he may be dropped (I can hope that was good info)...

I think whoever buys it will be a Clinton megaphone. I think the grocery millionaire is also a Clinton supporter.

Okay..I know I am being dense here...but what list are you referring to...and page 5??
The list I saw on that link you posted had only one page..with the list of companies that do not want to advertise on Air America...
Please point me in the right direction to the list you are referring to in your post #744..thanks.
To: Txsleuth
Funding for the fence won't stand a chance with these critters in charge. The fence doesn't stand a chance, they are too anxious to sick ACORN on all these potential new voters.

Problem is that Boortz is such a schizoid he will reverse himself in less than 24 hours.

I may try it...but, if it is as bad as I think it might be...I may have to stop watching.
BUT, unfortunately, NOW is the time we really need to keep up with what the critters are up to...right??
To: Miss Marple
No doubt. And look for CNN and MSNBC to start their 24/7 favorable coverage on everything Hillary says and does from here on out.
To: OldFriend
#437, and Corzine bought and paid for his role as the Governor, and he knows that if Menedez is indicted and goes on trial he will be able to appoint another crook just like Menedez, and the sleazy majority Dem voters will vote anything in because no dem is too sleazy for them. It took forever before the Polls showed The Previous Crooked and sleazy Senator Toricelli way down in the polls and that is when they recruited Lousenburg. The broke all the rules and put Louseburg in. There is no sleaze that they will not embrace. Yuk!

I think it still pays to listen to these guys you just have to be ready to tune them out when they get crazy.
Savage, while a true loco weed, can come up with some very good basic stuff that really makes you think but then he will blow it ten minutes later. You have to be ready with all of them. Three hours is more than enough time to shoot yourself in the foot sometimes over and over.(been there done that)

OH my... just happened to turn to FOX and Julie Banderas showed a tape of the Colbert Report election night ... have you seen it?
Shows him announcing the dems have won and then turns around and picks up a cake with Osama drawn in the middle and says here you go alQuaeda, here is your cake, now you can eat it.... that is all Fox showed, but basically making fun of the President saying if dems are elected the Terrorists win....
To: Arizona Carolyn
Really? i'd like to see Marvin Kalb go too! I am so glad not to see mcauliff on there lately.
To: samantha
The saving grace about the next two years is that now that the rats have some power they will be obliged to use it.
The minute they do it will undoubtedly be used for things that upset more people than not, after all they do not represent mainstream voters or citizens but the weird of society.
We can play on that and they will have little if any counter even with the msm/dbm driving an entire water truck in their direction.
