FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev.; White House chief of staff Josh Bolten.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sens. Joe Biden. D-Del., and Carl Levin, D-Mich.; Bolten.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Bolten; Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz; Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.
I grew up in Jersey City. My grandfather was a ward healer for Frank Hague. The Dems use their political machine, including voter fraud to win elections. I just chuckle every time I hear that NJ is in play for the Reps, polls aside.
With Senate rules and people like McCain and Graham we weren't a "majority party." We barely held a plurality. And a lot of that is the fault of the White House for trying to play the game pretending that the other guys a good and decent people who will play fair. It's time for the Chicago way!
Malone: You said you wanted to get Capone. Do you really wanna get him? You see what I'm saying is, what are you prepared to do?
Ness: Anything and everything in my power.
Malone: And *then* what are you prepared to do? If you open the can on these worms you must be prepared to go all the way because they're not gonna give up the fight until one of you is dead.
Ness: How do you do it then?
Malone: You wanna know how you do it? Here's how, they pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That's the Chicago way, and that's how you get Capone! Now do you want to do that? Are you ready to do that?
Ness: I have sworn to capture this man with all legal powers at my disposal and I will do so.
Malone: Well, the Lord hates a coward. Do you know what a blood oath is, Mr. Ness?
Ness: Yes. Malone: Good, 'cause you just took one.
We have to apply that to what we're doing in Iraq and to how we deal with domestic enemies, as well. McCain should have had his committee seats taken away when he betrayed his party leadership. So should all of the Republicans in the gang of 14. Every press availability by Frist should have started with questions to the media about why they weren't covering some Dhimmicrat scandal, such as Ried's involvement with Abramoff. Every time Denny Hastert or John Boehner talked to the press he should have asked about the stalling tactics surrounding William Jefferson and the lack of media scrutiny. It's how the Dhimmicrats have been operating for six years. Our playing nice with them was unilateral disarmament.
And the really sad thing is that people like Talent, Allen and Santorum paid the price for the actions of McCain, Graham and Specter.
We sure can tell how openly biased the MSM by this last election.
When CNN can run a special called "Broken Government" over and over and over, the week preceding the vote...they are NOT giving both sides, they are pushing their agenda.
I heard Mary Matalin complain about this on Hannity and Colmes...why hasn't anyone at the RNC COMPLAINED LOUDLY!!!
This is ridiculous that the MSM can openly campaign for a party and candidate....and no one worries about this.

Lieberman is back again as a Dem--actually he never left. He will be given his DHS chairmanship and will continue to vote with the Dems, e.g., against the confirmation of Alito. Lieberman has no principles. He wants to continue to feed at the public trough and be a member of the old boys club in the Senate. It is all about power and ego. If he had any principles, he would have accepted the verdict of his party in the primaries and got off the stage. Instead, withs the support of Reps, he is back in the Senate.
Rummy is our William Wallace.
Rush Limbaugh is a talk show host, powerful, influential, and one of the firewalls who stood firm against a tsunamis in this last election. He is not, and has not claimed to be a "political strategist". But, please, respect me enough to tell me how you rate those who were paid to be the "political strategists"?.
He I honestly think following his advice would be disastrous, because he obviously has a political tin ear (hence the Michael J. Fox gaffe).
Are you placing blame on our losses on Rush Limbaugh's commentary on Michael J. Fox? Please, I look to your posts for rational comments. So, I need to know: Are you really, honestly saying that Rush entering the Fox debate is why Republicans lost the majority?
Here's the thing: average non-political Americans think conservatives are heartless, rich bullies who are total hypocrites when it comes to ethics and morals.
Then please explain to me why so many Democrat house candidates ran to the right of their Republican challengers.

No matter what bill is signed for "comprehensive immigration reform," the problem is not going away. It will be a case of what the politicians and MSM say and what our lying eyes see. ERs will still be closing, schools overcrowded, prisons filling up, and medicaid payments and other social costs burgeoning. The issue is not going away. If we have an economic downturn, it will get worse as Americans see illegals taking away jobs. The increase in the minimum wage will make illegals more attractive. Stay tuned.
Thank you Red.
