I know johnny...I just watched twenty four years of conservative progress blown.

What really hurts is that we were only one seat from changing the Supreme Court. That would have helped us for a generation.

The dems will do nothing, the MSM will call it a big success and no one will be held accountable.

"Just now on Fox, back to back, they had a liberal explaining how conservative Pelosi, Ried and Rangel really are. "

To me, this is a set-up to allow FOX to bring back this video when the socialists in the dem party take over.

Another post claims FOX has turned hard left. IMHO, FOX is reporting news and the pulse of the country, not creating news as is done with the alphabets.

Buchanan lost but says it's because voters couldn't find his name on the new machines. He wants to be declared the winner on the strength of votes he would have gotten, even tho he didn't get them.

Only in Florida!

Rather continues to insist that his documents were not forgeries and that the evidence was real.

Good morning OF! If gloating was fatal, we would no longer have to worry about the Gregorys and Matthews of the world.

Each of these Democrats has to be held accountable to voters in two years. IF they do not vote as they claimed they would, that information needs to be put out there over and over.

We also need to find challengers to the Dems in 2008. Emmanuel and Schumer made some inspired choices in getting people like Webb, Sestak, Mitchell, etc.. Dole and Reynolds were a disaster.

MSNBC is only on the air as a campaign arm of the DNC. They are last in the ratings, but serve a subversive purpose.

Here's the thing: average non-political Americans think conservatives are heartless, rich bullies who are total hypocrites when it comes to ethics and morals.

I wonder where they got that impression.

70% of Republicans voted for Lieberman something I will never understand.

Lieberman supported Prez on Iraq war & talked against slashing the Prez during war time. Connecticut is dominated by dems in party affliation. Republican winning chance was 0%.

Charlie Crist did not stand the President up, he was with the President in Orlando, just not in the Panhandle. He was in a race that looked like it was tightening up towards the end, and you go where you are not assured of the votes, and the Panhandle was already in his corner. I wish some florida freepers would stop being so Reactionary(not you), it does not help their cause. A lot of them that do not like Crist will continue to use any perceived notion and over-react until cooler heads prevail. There was a big divide with some of the Floridians because of the Tom Gallagher view about Terri Schiavo, and crist not helping her when he could have. That is a huge bone to pick with Charlie, and when I see him the next time, that will be a point I will make, but all other things being equal it is not enough for me to Put Gallagher in against Davis with all his past perversions coming out to haunt him, and it certainly was not enough for me to vote for that missing in action Davis. The newly elected Attorney General is Bill MCcollum, who played a huge part in the Clinton Impeachment. The best political ad I saw all season was the rolling Davis chair that was always empty. I believe it was the best ad according to a poll of my fellow Pubbies as well. We need to hire the guy that created that ad for all our future ads.

That will be the big question for some if the newly elected "conservative dems"(haven't met one in a while) are really conservative.
My suggestion is that we blast these bozos out of the water when their true rat colors are shown which will be revealed they start voting on issues! (most likely to the left)

Too many of our so called Reagan conservative talking heads were counting on being able to say I TOLD YOU SO......they are faux patriots who put our country in the hands of those who would destroy it. The time for new candidates is in the primaries, not in general elections.

How do we support the military while trashing the President and allowing dems to take over.

The conservatives said they'd stay home because they didn't get everything their way. The evangelicals said they'd stay home for the same reason. The moderates said the President was too close to the right wing. Talk about a schizophrenic electorate!

There is nothing dishonest about HONESTLY saying, "Secure the borders first, and all options will be open AFTER that!"

There is no dishonesty needed to explain Iraq, or to adjust strategy or personnel.

There is no dishonesty required to flame Congress for corruption (protecting Jefferson) or to veto bills laden with pork and earmarks.

And it TOOK dishonesty to claim the anti-Miers crowd was sexist, or the anti-free immigration group a bunch of racists.

It took dishonesty to run in 2000 saying he would veto CFR, then sign it after election.

And he might not have been the candidate in 2000 if he had run on a pharmaceutical give-away, or a huge increase in the Dept of Education.

GWB can be dishonest when needed. And he could have worked with conservatives without needing to lie.

Sorry, but your analysis contradicts the facts.

It would have been better if Lamont had won. It would have radicalized the Dems more and gave greater power to moveon.org, etc. The "Prez" position on the war seems to be changing. He is turning it over to the Baker-Hamiliton commission.
