Thanks for posting that anita. That's the one I read, but couldn't find. I think some of his more lib constituents and the Dim Senate may be a bit disgruntled w Sen Webb from time to time (one can only hope). They're supposed to be the represenatives of ALL their constituents - hopefully, the Pubbie ones will let them know loudly and often how they feel. I heard on the radio yesterday that the Dims think their strategy about running as conservatives and picking conservatives in red districts helped them win and will probably continue to use it. I'm really hoping that some of these so-called 'conservatives' and 'Blue Dog Democrats' come back and bite the libs in congress in the posterior every now and then and make the Dims re-think their strategy.
Steele's a moderate-maverick...

Steele is a strong conservative who was running in a BLUE state and hoping to garner some traditionally dem voters from the predominently black communities of Md. I wish he had stood forthrightly with President Bush during his campaign but it was his call to tapdance instead. Apparently Md blacks just could not push the X for an R when it came to voting day.
The FBI is and has been hard at work. Fireworks will fly next year and bad Republicans will be found... but more dims will be prosecuted... they are the party of corruption... they invented it! It is going to be a fun year!
LLS
Dean Dim talking points permeate the once fair and balanced new channel.
Off to sports.
ELECTION 2006 AFTERMATH
America is Great
After-Thoughts about the Election
By Rev. Sheldon
This election has caused me to marvel at our Constitution and our way of government. We have just been through a revolution and yet there was no bloodshed. Some may have been mad, cried, been depressed, got drunk, etc. but no one was killed.
We were in the Ivory Coast earlier this year. They are having a revolution over who is going to be in the leadership of that country. Some were not happy with the results of a majority vote so they caused bloodshed, forced people out of their homes, in some places it is unsafe to travel, in some places thugs have taken control, the countryside savaged, people have had their businesses stolen and their money confiscated.
History is replete with examples of atrocities which occurred over the change of leadership such as following the French Revolution many people including King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were beheaded and even in England these things occurred until, under the influence of the evangelist Charles Wesley, they had what was called a bloodless revolution because the gospel took hold causing the leadership to change peacefully.
Tuesday our Congressional leadership changed, but our lives and our government are still intact.

Brilliant post Morgan, time for us to contorl the agenda.
On the weekend after the election,
History Channel is running the movie "The Day Reagan was Shot" (2001) with Richard Dreyfuss.
Thanks for the thread been shopping going to take a bit of time to catch up in between putting perishables away.
I also have taken some photos of the poppy wreaths laid in our Rembrance Garden on war memorial if applicable I may post a photo or 2 later.
Webb is a "Shoot first, aim later" kind of guy. It will be fun watching the embarrassment he causes Dems both by his positions and by his "I shoot my allies" personality.
He's one of those who believes he alone has integrity - so anyone who crosses him on anything is evil and worth shooting.
Maybe they need to rename it to unreliable sources?
So what if they did vote straight party line what is the problem if that is their party - media infuriate me with comments like that.
To me when someone votes that way it show commitment to their course. Personally I would have to have a very strong reason for not voting that way and as yet have never had one.
Thanks for the contacts list. Placed in my email box already. Each email address will be individually entered as well for easy and immediate access.
I think that 's UNFAIR. Prez never supported CFR. But McCain was standing on the table & shouting all over the Madrassa Media that he won't allow ANYTHING done in the senate if he is denied CFR.
You know Jeffords is about to switch & Daschle is going to be the leader. Prez did what anyone could pragmatically do under these conditions.
Prez's many achievements after that were listed on this forum.
It is their belief that they follow "journalistic ethics".
Journalistic Ethics = Military Intelligence
Fox News is top of the list of whose who should hear from us. They've moved left. They've lost their conservative (truthful, imho) stance. I suspect they've become more like the others for financial/advertising reasons.
If McCain is not smart enought to read FreeRepublic, he should be unelectable for not being intelligent enough to, at least, have an aide read and excerpt it for him.
