Crist had confirmed the schedule. The WH had no reason to think he wouldn't show up.
Bad form, Mr. Crist. If I were you I'd sure be buttering up to FEMA before, let's say, JUNE!
A.Hun, the problem is that our "majority" party did NOT know how to govern like a MAJORITY PARTY! The Rinos in the Senate have more than their fair share of the blame!

I guess there was no political fraud since the Democrats won.
On the media, I sure recommend the Media Research Center for keeping up to date on what the media is doing.
As for the loss, my wife and I have also been using a lot of introspection and evaluation. Part of our take is that instead of moderate candidates who are leaning right to appease our conservative voters we need more conservatives who can lean a bit to the middle.
Our second observation, here in Colorado for sure, is the country is not split 50/50 between Democrats and Republicans. The true split is in thirds: Democrats, Republicans and Independents or unaffiliated. Because of this we must constantly educate and attract the independent voter to win. We cannot allow unanswered charges or accusations by Democrats to go unchallenged. We have to provide more and better information to the public on what we are doing, how well we are doing, and how we are right with our predictions and political philosophy.
Six plus years of constant attacks on President Bush and Republicans hurt us with the voting public. We cannot allow this to continue and must respond better. Nor can we rely upon talk shows or Free Republic or the few conservative news sources helping us. These can reinforce our efforts but it's up to conservatives to light the fires and keep our positions front and center. We need to define the issues to address in our terms, not theirs.
My pleasure, Rod.
this is one of the few times I VIOLENTLY disagree with ya.
. Great take here SC, it's amazing just how much "egos" can get in the way of doing the right thing.
Well that is interesting
Translation ... Reid best bend over for Liberman or he could give power back to the Pubbies
This should be fun to watch *L*
The second chanllenge would be getting it out to the masses, and, just as important, getting it to the Tim Russert's of the mediaworld and making them aware that there's a new media watchdog that is watching them and reporting on their daily bias.

Lieberman wants to setup a bipartisan commission on Iraq once new Congress convenes... Russert asks if US should either ramp up troops or leave if not committed to victory. Lieberman says we need to be open to sending in more troops to Iraq, but must be tied to "new strategy"...
Senator-Elect Webb's Surprises for the Moonbat Base
He started off by mentioning that "tomorrow is an extremely important day for America," and the crowd went wild, thinking he was talking about taking power. But of course, he launched into his praise of the Marine Corps, and the crowd cheered a little less loudly. Then he thanked all the brave veterans and brave men still fighting, and the crowd cheered a little less loudly again.
Then he mentioned that he received a call from Sen. Allen, and the crowd went nuts again. Then he mentioned how pleasant and dignified Allen was, and the crowd grew quiet. Then he said he was having lunch next week with Allen -- and the crowd was dead silent. Finally he told the audience that they should all thank Sen./Gov. Allen for his many years of dedicated service to the people of Virginia -- and you could almost hear the people gathered looking at each other asking, "What the $#@! did we just do?"
It was priceless. (Worth Reading in full.)
WHY HAS FOXNEWS SLAMMED HARD LEFT???
