("Childhood Family Correlates of Heterosexual and Homosexual Marriages: A National Cohort Study of Two Million Danes," by Morten Frisch and Anders Hviid, Archives of Sexual Behavior Oct 13, 2006; [E-publication ahead of print])
A major study is about to be published in the prestigious peer-reviewed journal, Archives of Sexual Behavior, which provides striking new evidence for the influence of childhood family factors on sexual-orientation development.
The study used a population-based sample of 2,000,355 native-born Danes between the ages of 18 and 49. Denmark -- a country noted for its tolerance of a wide variety of alternative lifestyles, including homosexual partnerships -- was the first country to legalize gay marriage. The researchers assessed detailed marriage records for all Danish-born men and women marrying a same-sex partner from the years 1989 through 2001.
With access to the "virtually complete registry coverage of the entire Danish population," the study sample therefore lacked the problematic selection bias that has plagued many previous studies on sexual orientation.
Parental Influences on Sexual Orientation Development
The authors conclude: "Our study provides population-based, prospective evidence that childhood family experiences are important determinants of heterosexual and homosexual marriage decisions in adulthood."
Assuming that people who marry heterosexually are almost always heterosexual -- especially in a country where homosexuality carries little stigma, and gay marriage is legal -- and people who marry homosexually can be presumed to be homosexual, the study's findings offer intriguing evidence about family factors separating homosexual from heterosexual persons.
The following are findings from this new data:
"Whatever ingredients determine a person's sexual preferences and marital choices," conclude the study's authors, "our population-based study shows that parental interactions are important."
By then he feels he has to validate himself by insisting his behavior is normal. It goes to the core of who he thinks he is. To face the fact that he's been doing such disgusting things is too painful to consider. That's why the homosexuals are so obsessed with forcing their lies upon society.
Yeah, I do have some compassion for them... but it only goes so far. Because they grow up and then THEY in turn offend. Or, from what I gather, they have "relationships" but when they get older and it gets harder to pick up, they turn to children. Not all of them, but that's where a lot of the problem lies and they all have to be considered to be potential sex offenders.
It really needs to be stopped, and we don't seem to be making much headway. These state constitutional amendments are good, but I suspect we all fear that the lib judges will find a way to nullify them. Reinstating the sodomy laws would be good, but we've GOT to find a way to change the way society looks at and deals with these sodomites.
We have to "raise the conciousness" of the country about it. I don't know if it's possible at this stage.
The evidence continues to roll in. Thanks for posting this, and links as well. This is a keeper.
Well I'll be danged! I thought I liked women because I was born with testicles! Who knew! /s
The gay gene appears to be remarkably malleable...
Yes, it does. I'm trying to collect more articles for my profile and this is definitely a keeper.
After posting this article a friend stopped by with an emergency so I never made it back to the thread until now. It looks like the thread did fine without me! J
Sure it is. You have your highest incidence of AIDS in the "inner city" although many in the MSM attribute that to intravenous drug use.
The interesting thing about the born that way theory is no credible scientist supports the theory. But you would never know that from reading press releases and articles that appear to say otherwise.
I don't mean to overwhelm you, but here are some articles on the subject:

Hmmmmmmm. The evidence would seem to be pretty convincing ... But if you don't consider homosexuality wrong to begin with, you probably wouldn't care much if your child grew up to be a homosexual. Thus perversion begets perversion, and morality is defined down one step closer to the beasts.
A well-deserved BTTT.

I've been in this debate for years and have never considered that reply. I've couched it in different terms but I like the way you said it. Thanks.
Broken families = Broken people. It's almost as if somebody or something is purposely destroying the family unit....doesn't it?
The book A Parent's Guide to Preventing Homosexuality gets into some detail here. It's available at Amazon, Narth and perhaps other locations.
What's really sad is people were saying that years ago and then came the push to find the gay gene. Well, they never did find the gay gene and from what I've read, they don't believe they ever will because there's too much environmental evidence.
And now we have a growing ex-gay population and the radical gays do all they can to suppress the ex-gay message.
Once again:
Broken families = Broken people.
Indeed!

I see the article failed to point out that most homos were molested as boys. Gee, I also wonder how boys raised by homos will turn out.
