Best wishes to American Jews and any interests they have in protecting the State of Israel while the Democrats hold power in the Congress.

Anybody suppose the MSM will now begin to take a look at the anti-semitism in the Defeatocratic Party?

Sometimes I think that American Christians care more about the future of Israel than American Jews.

We deserve what we vote for. Sadly we get stuck with what THEY voted for.
Hard to believe so many people voted for a non-existent plan, anti-American policies, and all the rest of it.
Either there are a lot of people out there who don't have a clue, or the election was stolen.
Time for a DU-type uprising - I demand recounts!
Or else we can sit back and watch the fun unfold and hope that 2 years of it will wake folks up -

**Thankfully, we can expect continued bi-partisan support for Israel in the 110th Congress. But there is a small cadre of 40-50 House Members (excuse me, Mr. Expert, but how is a cadre of 40-50 House members, equaling near 10% of the House, small Jsk) who cannot be considered friendly, all Democrats except for half a dozen. There are also several Senators who are problematic. This all means we have our work cut out for us in the 08 election cycle which is already shaping up.**
First They Came for the Jews
First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.
Pastor Martin Niemöller
Community and individuality are not opposites. People cannot survive on their own. When the odds are stacked against you, you must rally with the oppressed and hated.
When a growing oppressive regime is taking hold, you must act, otherwise you will soon face your enemy alone and hopeless.
Strength of community is a strength as much as individualism, as long you are willing to face weaknesses in your own community. Ignoring slacking values will mean that you will be rallied against by those you oppress.
Niemöller affirms we must rally against unhealthy organized regimes. We must also stay vigilant with those that appear to be good natured, as all organisation attracts corruption. Niemöller also warns us that if it is you who are corrupt, then you will face a stronger combined force of foe!

This reminds me of what Michael Medved said on Friday. He was at a Pro-life conference in Toledo, Ohio earlier in the week. I guess one of the people at the conference (maybe a Catholic) came up to him and said something to the affect--you must be pretty happy that a lot of your people, or maybe he/she even said tribe, got into office on Tuesday. He said on his show that he has nothing in common with Jews on the left. He has much more in common with conservative Christians than leftist Jews.

The Dem-loving Jews in America know that the folks that will fight and die next to the Israeli soldiers and citizens in the Middle East will come from the conservative, Christian majority in the US. You don't find many sons or daughters of that 87% serving in any American military unit.
To: avile
The majority of American Jews are extremely liberal by nature. They historically have voted Democratic for decades. They have long dominated the national ACLU and most state ACLU organizations (and support the "rights" of Islamic terrorists in the U.S.
To them liberal "values" (a term I use loosely) is more important that the security of Israel or the United States. They tend to vote as solidly Democratic as African_Americans.
It will be much easier to recruit blacks into the conservative and Republican ranks (if we can get them to stop listening to the Jesse Jacksons). Many middle class blacks share our values ranging from the need for national security to the failure of "publik edjewkashun."
It is possible to get them to make that "leap of faith" if people like A.C. Watts and Michael Steele carry the message.

"nothing in common with jews on the left."
what if "jews on the left" are not really jews? similarly, what if "christians on the left" are not really christians? seems that many people hide behind religious labels so that they might get away with many things, one of which is full-fledged comittment to socialist revolution; they call it "social justice".

Well he discussed that a little bit as well--some of them are religious Jews, like a Joe Lieberman, but many of them are Jews in Name Only--from Jewish ancestry.

I used to, but I've decided that I can't waste my time worrying about people who are suicidal. I understand 87 percent of the Jews voted Demoncrat this time. Well, good luck to you. I wish you all the best. It's going to really suck when Israel is attacked and the Demoncrats look the other way.

Heres why most "jews" vote left
Imagine if during the Irish potato famine, only people like Rosie O'donnel and Sinead Oconnor or the ILGO types came to America.
Then imagine the Brits killing off the remainder who stayed in Ireland- obviously given the first set of emigrants, good Catholic Irish would be largely victimized. Moreover imagine that the American Irish did not do anything to save their brethren.
The few survivors make their way to America and find themselves in a minority where the majority of Irish are not like Honey Fitz but are like Rosie Odonell. They would struggle with starting up Catholic schools etc..
This is the Jewish situation, where the Fiddler on the roof generation were the least Jewish Jews of Eastern Europe(and were the minority there) , didn't care about the Holocaust and suddenly hard core Jewish survivors show up- and get screwed by the fiddlers institutions-i.e. ACLU ,ADL.
The Orthodox Jewish Jews are the core of the Reps voters and if it weren't for the Holocaust would be the majority in the world and wouldn't be getting buggered all the time by abortion loving liberals.

Christian is areligious term. If someone born into a Christian family becomes a muslim he ceases being Christian. Since Jews are both a nation and religion, one doesn't stop being Jewish if they become apostate.

Jews are attracted to left wing causes.
During the 1930s through the 1950s the percentage of Jews in the Communist Party U.S.A. was considerably higher that its percentage of the U.S. population. At the same time Stalin was imprisoning and killing Jews in the U.S.S.R.
American Jews are much more likely to be upset because some small southern town has a nativity in a city park or some minister says a prayer at a football game that if a terrorist bomber kills 100 Israeli citizens.

Now those Communists have MURDERED 300 million worldwide.
They started the abortion mills ( Jules Hammer founder of
the Communist party U.S.A.)that have murdered another 40 million in the United States and one billion worldwide.
They now occupy the united states House and Senate.
And I still say nothing.
There I fixed it for you.

They'll talk a lot, set up committees, praise the UN on its "leadership, issue strongly worded statements until the problem goes away (ie no more Israel). Then the MSM will spin about a bright new future in the Middle East.
