Too late, many of us already have!
I consider myself conservative, but I ditched the "republican" label years ago. I got tired of insincere politicians and "their followers" pandering to my faith just to get my vote.
So, Mr. Huang, no need to wonder any longer. Did Tuesday answer your question?
John McCain, protect me from your followers!

Dumbest thing I've ever heard. He had nothing to do with the elections.

I never heard of him either. From what I've read about him, he falls into the "religious Left" camp, the camp of Christian Socialists.

Never forget that Jimmy Carter calls himself an Evangelical.

Start out preachin' Green, ended up not smoking crack and not having gay sex with a male prostitute.

See what environmentalism does to you?

His church's reaction is interesting too.

SliceOfLaodicea.com
Well, what would you tell your children about Pastor Ted if you attended New Life Church? The Rocky Mountain News reports that the church has given out a sheet of talking points for parents about the disappearance of "Pastor Ted". They are to tell their children that Pastor Ted loves Jesus very, very much and that he made a mistake and that while he is spending time with Jesus, Pastor Ross will be pastor. (Is this a hint of a possible return to action for Pastor Ted?) You will note that the term "mistake" is repetedly used. A mistake is a typo on a letter. A mistake is to forget a dental appointment or to accidentally drive over your child's bicycle while exiting the garage. A mistake is not visiting a gay prostitute and buying crystal meth. That would be sin.
So all that really happened is that Pastor Ted has gone to spend more time with Jesus. You have to wonder how many consultants and special ministries people got together to dream that one up.

That's a bunch o' hooey. Christians put their faith in Christ, b/c we know people are going to fail. The Haggard controversy did not cause people to change their values systems.

Wow, seems like everybody under the sun is to blame for Tuesday.
Ted Haggard? That little scumbag was but a pimple on a tick's ass. Totally insignificant.

If it hadn't been Ted Haggard being exposed it would have been someone else. The Democrats were going to win, and they didn't care what they had to do to insure a win nor will they care what they have to do to maintain power. . . . and then . . enter Hillary, power and control freak extraordinaire . . .
