I know I've been sticking up for Bush since forever and I will continue to do so.
I only agree with him on the war and taxes and I voted a straight Republican ticket in the election, the alternative was far worse as we all know and will soon find out how worse it will become.
Go to the site and read this article it's pretty good.
This was a 6th year election. Can't people count?
What do you mean, we were supposed to lose?
Gee, this guy wrote all those words, and still didn't get it right. The reason "we" lost: The price of a gallon of gas. Remember, you heard it here first.
Ok, I'll vouch for you. ;)
No, here's why we lost:

The reasons for the loss go beyond individual instances of corruption, terrible as they are. Unfortunately, Bush is not a conservative and abdicated leadership and even encouraged a profligate, pork-laden, wasteful, ear-marked congressional spending binge. His tax cuts will be wiped out when the biggest entitlement since LBJ fully kicks in and saddles the next generation with trillions in unfunded liability. The most amazing thing about this election is that we didn't lose more than we did!
He betrayed the conservatives (and national security) when he endorsed his no-borders amnesty program.
He waffled on issues like affirmative action in the Michigan decisions.
True, he eventually had two good Supreme Court nominees confirmed but this was only after the Harriet Miers debacle -- that made all conservatives raise such a howl of protest that he was forced to drop her.
His dismissal of Rumsfeld a day after the Republicans lost Congress is typical. So was his support of fellow-RINO Arlen Specter over conservative Toomey in the PA primary.
I could go on but the overiding point is that the party must purge itself of RINOs and time-servers and return to its conservative roots and core values - - A REAGEN REVIVAL!
A lot of seats were lost merely because the American people always get tired of the party in power.
The Democrats were shocked that they didn't win more seats in the last election cycle. If they had won more seats back then, they would have found it necessary to defend more seats this round.
WHY WE LOST PING!
I'll continue with you.

The socialist/Marxist/liberal media is the most destructive, relentless, and ruthless enemy of this Republic.

At least get his name right.
We lost the elections in American because we did not win in Iraq. Kinder Gentler Compassionate might be good for politicking, but KGC warfighting is not good for war.
There it is, right on the money. However, one big reason the GOP fell into this self-destructive mode was the presence of too many "moderates" who stood in the way of real institutional change. These scared-bunny scumbags essentially forced gridlock, leaving the rest of the caucus with nothing better to do than waste time. What a friggin shame.
I'll partially agree with you. We won the war against Saddam's regime but we failed to win the peace with Sadr(Iran) and Syria (Hama, Hezbollah which morphed into Al 'insert wacky name' Brigade).
Why don't you react to the substance of the comment instead of wasting time replying about a typo?
Because it's not a typo, it's a misspelling. That's why. The "e" and the "a" are not real close on the keyboard.
You ought to know how to spell the ex-President's name if you call on a "Revival" in his name.
