They might indeed make a successful business out of it, but its infinitely far from space development and will remain so until the 1967 Treaty is withdrawn from.
This business will work great until the first fatality.

It hasn't shut down the airlines.

Joyriding into space is not.
It may start out as joy riding, but I'm willing to bet it will develop into more of a 'necessity' than you may think.
It wouldn't be surprising if they expanded their destinations to other countries once the technology is better developed.
After all, the first 'airliners' weren't a necessity either.
People orginally booked them for the pleasure of flying or 'joy riding', just like they are with this.
Hey, if and when New York to Tokoyo in 30 minutes becomes reasonably affordable, sign me up.
