Bush on Thursday submitted the nomination of John Bolton as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, and said he would like to move forward on legislation to authorize the National Security Agency's domestic surveillance program.

Of course they're having tantrums behind the scenes. I look forward to the day when they turn it into a public spectacle. The voters wanted change. They got it.

Your comment just helped me find my new tagline.

Maybe this spineless GOP majority will do two things right... Vote for Bolton and then LEAVE.

If they dont vote for bolton then they can just leave.

"The same could be said for the Senate and Harry Reid." If someone as strong as Casper Weinberger couldn't make Jim Webb toe the line you can bet that Harry Reid won't. You will hear that Webb has been "in conflict" with the presumptive Senate leadership before the new congress is seated.

Every once in a while President Bush surprises us by showing a little intestinal fortitude. Go get 'em, John Bolton!

Republican Sen. Lincoln Chafee, who was defeated in this week's election, also said he would block Bolton's nomination.

Put Santorum in there if Bolton can't get confirmed. What dems have done to Bolton shows how ruthless they are.

They need to remove Chafee from the committee. That will free up the nomination

Can they do that? I would love them to do so.
