Sorry, I am in the wrong thread. Mods, please delete.
He said thousands of non-Iraqi fighters had been killed. Al-Qaida in Iraq leader Abu Ayyub al-Masri, also known as Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, recently acknowledged that more than 4,000 fighters from his group have been killed. He added that 200 fighters used to enter the country every day and now it is about 30 a day.
Expect the "30 a day" figure to climb right back up, now that "victory" is at hand.

Who takes bets around here that Lieberman switches to GOP, what odds can I get
So let me get this straight....
The Dems have been MISLEADING the American public all this time, saying we need to get out of Iraq? So they lied to the people ??!!
I can't believe this! /sarc
"Bet ya he's in for a surprise. Kind of a democratus interruptus."
That would be hilatious, if it weren't so frightening.
No, but they'll pull out slowly.
We should introduce the PM to FR, minus armchair ASSumptions.

I just checked both Tradesports and Owise:
Neither is yet considering the contingency of a Lieberman switch.
So I think it's safe to say the "market" odds are basically "infinity-to-one" against a switch!
Talabani knows W's unchanged resolve even better than some on FR.
"Iraqi president says Democrats told him they will not pull out quickly." ..........(Translation) Sorry the funds are going to run out, we will have to withdraw our troops and fight the war from Okinawa.
The Dems will not pull out. They will cut funding, Bush will be forced to re-deploy, the ME will implode, Bush will get the blame, and Hillary will be elected in 08 to save us all.
January 18, 2009, Hillary will demand wide based powers to combat terroristm, the Constitution declared null and void, UN troops will be deployed in the US to keep the peace after the Government tries to confiscate our guns through forced house-to-house searches.
Yeah, Bush is trying to be the "uniter, not a divider" again. Every time he does that, he ends up pulling back a bloody stump...and the DBM STILL blames HIM for the tone in Washington -- not the RATS.
