Dear Lord but your post is funny.
Hey, seriously, I really think the pubbies need to do one of two things with this gay thing.
Either purge the party of these closeted gays or sit down and be straightforward with us. Let the voters decide because anything else is just lying to us and Lord knows we've been lied to enough with these entrenched pubbie politicos.

I simply do not believe Bill Maher is gay.
Seems to me I read a few gossip tidbits about Maher and they've all been about Maher's questionable relationship with WOMEN.
But then again I had no idea Mehlman is gay. I'm still not convinced.

Fishtalk, you're not the only one who did not know Mehlman was gay. I didn't know it either. As far as I'm concerned, that's his own personal business. As long as he is not one of those "in your face" gay type, I have no problem. The fact that there is a list of gay Republicans being circulated does bother me. Bill Maher has to be the biggest POS low life out there. Someone needs to check Maher's closet.

Good on you. I agree with that choice.
It would fix that constipation problem of the
Dhimmie-crats, in a major fashion.

Hey maybe this site can go back to the good old days. Talking about the Constitution. Borders that are closed to keep out the riff raft. Have never sided with the neo-cons and their internationalism (NWO).
Wouldn't that be nice?
Many of these Blue Dogs are anti-Clintons. They're not the NWO crowd, more the nationalist/populist types. We'll see if they can hold against the Pelosicrats and make some common cause with the GOP conservatives.
I know that we lost. But many of these seats were lost to Dems who ran as conservative or, in a few districts, more conservative campaigns than the Republicans they defeated. Their voters aren't going to tolerate them turning into NWO nutcases. And they know it.

Help me out here...Ken Mehlman is gay?
Get your gaydar fixed.
He's not the only one either. Take a look around the RNC and the inner Bush circle. Lots of folks there who are lifelong singles and never seen in the company of, let alone in a relationship, with a member of the opposite sex.

So about 8 months ago I decided I was going to be gay. If you want, I can help you get started too, and you'll soon see how many societal benefits that being gay has attached to it.
I just know you're hellbent on turning this into a gay forum. You can't fool me.
After the Mark Foley thing, I'll never be able to open a FReepmail without fear again. Who knows what extremely gay thing you gay Republicans might write to me?

Can I be the only one out here in la-la land who didn't know this? Nope...I didn't know it until I read it here last night. Neither did my husband. However, I couldn't care less.
BTW..On F&F this morning they were talking about the RNC being interested in Michael Steele to replace Mehlman. I vote YES!!!

Good riddance to the champion of defeat. Can he come round up some of the harpy hacks he and the RNC pay to be on FR? They are just as tiresome and at least as useless. Blackbird.

Hey Ken....Your Fired.
Our nation is more at risk than ever before. Were you deaf, or only hear what you wanted to hear? The party has abandoned the conservative base, and therefore, it was there's to lose. Well you did a great job at screwing it up. I used to actively campaign, and contribute ca$h, but the party left me on the sidelines. I'll bet there is a lot of conservatives speaking that.
Hey Republican Party...Grow some balls, start acting like conservatives, and maybe we can get everything back in 08, otherwise you deserve to get shafted by the libs.

Ed Gillespie did a great job with Bush-Cheney.
Yea, Ed did ALMOST as good a job as Melhman (see Tuesday for an example of his greatness), considering the race was against Kerry. Can you say by the skin of his teeth, in a race that shouldn't have been close? You just can't make this stuff up! LMAO! Many instances of great thinkers in the RNC here of late. Karlos "LaRaza" Rove is another "great thinker" that needs to go yesterday. Blackbird.

Well I'm going to be a bit silly here but I've never had much use for gaydar.
Thusly I shall be the first to admit that one could fool me easily enough.
Why on earth would I need gaydar? I am a heterosexual female and so far as my past recalls, I've never had any sort of relationship, sexual or otherwise, with a homosexual. Further, homosexuals have never ever "hit" on me in any fashion.
I'm pretty sure that most of the guys on my fave home decorating shows are homosexuals and I consult for a beauty salon and a couple of those operators were plainly gay, even I could see that.
Frankly, it's my HUSBAND who spots a gay guy a mile away and usually he points it out to ME. Heh.
I'm gonna ask him about Ken Mehlman. He never mentioned a gay possibility there.

Why is there all this talk of "outing" Ken Mehlman? When Mehlman took the job at the RNC is was well known - or so I thought - that he was homosexual. His homosexuality was certain in news reports because I specifically recall debate over whether his appointment was a good thing or not. I'm sure some enterprising person could find a post from FR about the matter.
