His goal was to elect liberals and assist by increasing gathering frustration. The Reagan Democrats want four things - minimum wage increase, review of trade agreements and how they impact US jobs, review of corporate abuse of H-1B worker policy and stop illegal immigration. For 12 years the GOP told the Reagan blue collar Democrats that free trade and globalism is a fact of life, adapt or die. Well the Dems did something funny in 2006. They fielded candidates in blue collar GOP districts who will raise minimum wage and review trade agreements. Voters are like consumers, they will go to the vendor who will meet some of their desires over the vendor who offers none. So what will the GOP give to the Reagan Democrats to get them back in 2008?????
