Dobbs: A big 'hallelujah' for American voters
CNN ^ | November 9, 2006 | Lou Dobbs

Posted on 11/09/2006 1:38:43 PM PST by SuperSonic

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Hallelujah, brothers and sisters. I'm not even sure what "hallelujah" means, but the word just feels right after witnessing what is at the very least an awakening of the power of the people. I'm hopeful that November 7 was also a declaration that middle-class Americans won't be taken for granted by either political party.

I agree with you about getting a real conservative TV station. There must be very rich repubs that can join forces and purchase a station or two... add newspapers as well. If I was a very rich repub, I would go for it. MSM already proved that people are just plain dumb and will believe anything they hear on news. Oh wait, I take that statement back. People are not dumb, just sheeps being led by MSM.

If there were any remaining doubts, on his show today there was a "Broken Borders" reprise highlighting hispanic influence in the election and hailing voters opposing any solution that doesn't include amnesty.

Well look here. Look who all the Antis Illegal Freepers loved turns out to be a big Leftist Democrat

Hey wonder if any of the Anti Illegals realized thanks to their dancing to pied pipers like Dobbs here, they JUST fired the only people, US House Republicans, standing between then and "Shamnesty"? NO one in DC stands for them now. Dobbs will magically forget his angst now that his Heros the Dems lied their way back into power.

What a masterful political mole Democrat Dobbs turned out to be.

Does matter Dobb you schmuck. They only needed 2 years or control of the Us House to pass McCain/Kennedy Immigration bill. Motives do NOT out erase the damages caused by outcomes

I don't understand how that scumbag Dobbs can host a show on money and finance. It's like Ramsey Clarke taking a job as an executioner in Texas. Very odd. I sure wouldn't want Dobbs as my financial advisor.

You can call me names, but it is the GOP who is out of power because they took the blue collar Reagan Democrats for granted. Let us see if they will wise up in 2008 or forever look in from the outside.

Why stop there? He could ask president Bush.

No they will not do better with the Dems on H-1B workers and illegal immigration. If the Dems keep their word, the Reagan Democrats will get a raise in minimum wage and review of the US trade agreements. If the GOP wise up they will look at the H-1B abuses by high tech corps (whose owners mainly support the Dems) and illegal immigration (something the Dems will not deal with), and may win back the Reagan Democrat voters. Reagan Democrats have become consumers, and they will chose a vendor that will met their needs. In 2006 the Dems running in their district offer them the best deal, maybe in 2008 the GOP will offer something better. Who taught them to act like mercenaries? Blame their GOP loving employers. How does it feel like being treated like a commodity? Happens to workers all the time in a global free trade economy. Not funny when it is applied to the political party you love.

You lost the context, if you ever had it. Dobbs should ask Pelosi about the broken borders because he is celebrating that the Democrats won. What a nutjob...rants on and on about broken borders and then celebrates the political power of people who have the very worst record of all on the borders. No point need be made about Dobbs asking Bush, as Dobbs rails against Bush's policies every time he opens his big dumb mouth.

>>>>>What's his deal? Is it the off-shoring of jobs? Did congress pass a bill mandating this? This is America isn't it? I'd have to assume if congress passed legislation mandating how and where companies produce this or that product most people would think that was a borderline planned economy.

No, that would be flat-out marxism.

My point was that Bush doesn't care if its a republican congress or a democratic congress, as long as his precious scamnesty bill gets passed. :)

OK, granted. GWB sucks on this issue.

Before the election: 2/3 of his own party could stuff him on this and any USSC nomination that even came close to reeking like Harriet Miers.

After the election: 2/3 of the MINORITY party opposes his misguided amnesty bill. No one to the right of Harriet Myers will even get a hearing from Senator Leahy, the new Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman.

Yeah, we sure taught those GOPers a lesson.
