It would survive, but taxes would be huge. And with the dems in control those federal contracts would head north.

To where? From what I've been able to tell, only Ingalls in Pascagoula and Bath Iron Works in Maine have the equipment necessary to build the ships. Bath can't get them all because there would be too much of a backlog.

Don't forget, MS has its share of Dem legislators, Bennie Thompson and Gene Taylor are two with some seniority, and Gene is already saying he'll keep working hard for the state. In fact, he actually said, after the election, that he regretted that the Dems were taking over the Senate because MS Sen. Thad Cochran was Chairman of one committe and Sen. Lott was still pretty powerful in the Repub. leadership. He considers them both extremely important for the state.
