I think its an economic catastrophe when we are importing more than we are exporting overseas. I think its an economic catastrophe when our military-industrial base has been compromised by outsourcing overseas. I think its an economic catastrophe when skilled work is replaced with selling hamburgers at MacDonalds or stocking shelves at Wal-Mart.

Right now, the picture may look good, but this can't continue. You can't get more out of a system than you put in, and inevitably, our need to buy most or all of what we need from overseas while exporting very little to balance it off doesn't make sense to me.

Does it make sense to you, or am I missing something?

Where did you get your PhD in economics?

Or are you a psychic?
