The troops know that the American people didn't stand behind them the one time it really counted. When was that? I certainly don't believe that the electorate made that statement on Tuesday.

That was Tuesday. My view is sort of somewhere in the middle of you two. I think that a big chunk of the middle who went over to the Dims did so because they are "war weary".
It's just way to much to ask of some people that they endure five minutes a night of Iraq coverage. Which is their sole exposure, other then that small portion of their annual tax bill that goes to war appropriations.
It's almost enough to make one wish for a good scrap metal drive.
I think Tuesday was nothing more then an exercise in wishful thinking on the part of many who voted. Let's go back to the 90s.
Let's get back to our vacation from History.

I certainly don't believe that the electorate made that statement on Tuesday.They may have not INTENDED to make that statement. But that's the statement they ended up making.
