FOX has gotten so liberal lately that I hardly watch it anymore. I pretty much stick to the Internet for news and analysis.
Or maybe he is suffering from a midlife crisis--just joking but that stuff is real. Trust me, I know first hand how gut-wrenching it is to watch someone go thru this in the worst case scenario.
See post #626 for info on what the President said. Don't feel bad, I missed it too.
Thank you for posting the transcript.
They refuse to believe that the squishy middle are the culprits, not the right. There may have been some conservatives who stayed home, but I doubt it was of any statistical significance.
They are looking for someone to blame, and the easiest are those they argued with here.
Actually in the heavily criticized presser yesterday and his comments today, Bush has already put the Dems on the spot. Not expecting our side to pick up on that.
No; it is really sad.
The GOP-Reaganites live in the past; knowing never when to apply those principles, always seeming to show up at all times to denigrate the Party of Reagan, in this day. Because they are the "real conservatives", they say.
When they start going the way of MSNBC, CNN, Dan Rather and the NY Times -- they'll get the message. Just who do they think their audience has been over the past few years anyway?
There's an Aggie joke in there somewhere...
Absolutely.
I associate myself with Jim Robinson's earlier post.
As to those who are worried that Bush is afraid of impeachment and investigations in the House, I say: let them bring it on. Throw them all the rope they want to hang themselves. I hope they overreach in every committee, in every public forum, every television show. If they do, they will sink their own freshmen "conservatives" and elect a GOP House in 2008.
OTOH, if it weren't for Rush, would we even hear the stories the MSM won't report?
I disagree (but hope you are right). Tuesday the voters were angery at the party in power and tossed out every tossable R, not one incumpent D lost. Not one open seat went GOP, the downdraft even effected local judges and county races. It was a blow out and a sea change, not just business as usual. Hope for the best but plan for the worst is how I operate so I'll not just try to put a happy face on this election cause that is the surest way to make 08 a repeat.
Just announced: Ed Bradley, dead at 65. The Lacross interview was probably his last one.
Thank you!!
Sorry! I didn't even see you'd already posted the transcript when I went looking for one ;-) Thank you!
