Actually "Blame the Libertarians" may be true. Burns lost by 3000 in MT. The Libertarian vote was 10000 and Burns would have easily had a 1700+ marging amongst those voters.

Been seeing quite a bit of that around here today.
Odd thing is, I seem to recall many of the folks saying this today claiming the GOP didn't need the "unappeasables" votes a few months ago and that was right before they would call them morons, idiots, etc....

At least Limbaugh will have a great show for two years, or until the new Fairness Doctrine is enacted. When it becomes apparent that W won't veto anything, we will get the FD in full force, and probably retroactive so that talk stations will have to surrender all their time to Al Franken and Randolphia Rhodes to make up for years of Rush Limbaugh et al.
