After all, he knew full well that we had a limited A bomb stockpile. Regardless of any later spin (and that's all it was), his New Deal advisors were quite upset at what they perceived a cave.

I know what you are saying, but now the spotlight is on the dims, they have to put up or shut up now, and all it takes is one little thing to threaten national security and they will be done. For example, if they pull the troops from Iraq and something bad happens here for the first time since 9-11 they will be done. Unfortunately, we will be hurt by that, lives could be lost, but people in this country need to wake up! All of us here get it, but they don't. They go about their daily lives thinking nothing will happen like 9-11 again. They obviously think that or they wouldn't have voted dims in yesterday.

We're talking casualties probably in the millions. I agree with them. When that happens were are all going to pull together and liberals will be marginalized - or we will have a military coup with civil war to one extent or another.
If several cities are hit simultaneously, there will be no government help, there will be not nearly enough hospital beds, communications will break down, there will be massive refugee movements.
