Everything negative that fair-weather FReepers are saying about the president today, Lott actually IS, has always been and will always BE. I was not sorry to see Lott go as Senate Majority Leader, but I've been disappointed that we got someone nearly as spineless in Frist (nice guy, but we know where they finish).

Rumsfled submitted his resignation twice and the President refused it. May be this time Rumsfled just had it and he will not accept a no from the President.

Sorry, you've got it backwards. The President is going to have even less support from Republicans if he capitulates to the Left. Rush is absolutely correct about that.

He has demonstrated that he doesnt stand with conservatives - why in the hell should we stand with him. He has already said that he will rollover to all of the rats demands. This man is not worthy of this office. I am ashamed of him and what he said today at the press conference. He has made a hard situation even worse.
