We do indeed live in interesting times
Judgement Day '06 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 11/07/2006 11:45:49 PM PST by Jim Robinson

We do indeed live in interesting times.

I believe our resolve is about to be tested like it's never been tested before and I pray we're up for it.

The Democrats and the leftist media see this election as a mandate against the president and the war. They are about to pull out all the stops in their mission to totally demoralize the American people. If they succeed to the point we pull out of Iraq before the Iraqis are strong enough to defend themselves, I'm afraid it'll be the Killing Fields all over again. Only this time much much worse and much closer to home.

Praying we have the national resolve to resist the enemy within. Praying we maintain the will to continue the fight against the global jihadists. Our very right to survive as a nation and a free people depends on it.

Our president and our troops are going to need our prayers and support now more than ever.

God willing, America will survive!

That's right. It's our fault --- just like the liberals who blame America for 9/11.

No, 9/11 was the fault of radical muslims. The loss of the election was the fault of many, including republicans. The sooner you see and learn this, the sooner effective repairs can be made.

I see clearly, thank you.

Midterm losses happen.

Agree to a point. But there was more to it than just MSM. The things the MSM brought up are now being to a point admitted to by the administration.

I say "baloney" to that. The old media was the biggest mover in this election. They colored everything.

I have to out go to work now, but just for instance, one thing --- think of what they did with the Plame/Wilson/Libby thing for three years. They made things happen. They tortured the administration every day for three years ....... and the Late Night jerks ran with it continually. It was quite an effort.

The old media is stone EVIL!

The big battle is yet to come

The Big Battle is on us. Americans have to take a lot more real visible domestic damage to understand they cannot avoid war by opting to "sit it out." The paynim will give us that damage as we now dismantle Domestic Security and pull out of the ME.

You were forwarding that sentiment yesterday?

With sweeping immigration reform hanging in the balance, I can't help but wonder how many illegal aliens voted in this election.

Of course not. I was optimistic.

Optimistic becuase you thought the results would be different, or optimistic even though you knew better.

More so the latter. I thought Allen and Talent would win and I thought Steele might eke out a win in MD.

Mr. Robinson, I don't believe I have ever replied to one of your posts so it saddens me to do so now. I have the greatest respect for you and what you have done with the Free Republic web site and that being said I feel I should toss in my two cents worth.

I believe that a 10 year nightmare is just beginning - we are on the edge of one of this nation's darkest times - by the time President Hillary gets through with this country, it will be morally bankrupt, deeply socialist/communist, steeped in the blood of more aborted babies by doctors in search of stem cells under the guise of "medicine".

Good luck and God Bless everyone.

It always will.

They said the same of Rome, once upon a time. Stay vigilant.

This is the same nation that sent the 1994 majority to Congress.

You are just plain stupid aren't you.

to keep the liberals OUT of power

Kind of the same difference, but I understand what you mean. And yeah, I totally know what you mean about the SCOTUS. That's a big deal for me, too, since it lasts so long, and so yeah, you pick yer battles. But then again, the court is such a crap shoot, I don't feel like it's ever certain no matter who gets picked by whom. Granted, we all like our chances better with a GOP pick, but you never know. And anyway, we've still got the White House. As far as I am concerned, there's no reason why ANY bad justice should ever be nominated. Let them reject 20 picks in a row if they like. See how America reacts to that. As long as none of them is named Harriet Miers :-P It seems like Americans have lost faith in the handling of the Iraq war, justifiably or not. I think that probably was the kicker. And I think maybe we're not that serious about the terror threat anymore, and so here we are. That's life.

Thanks for your tireless work for conservative issues and on this website, I'm sure that everyone appreciates you and this forum very much.

We will survive, but you know the country is in trouble when good men like Rick Santorum, George Allen and Michael Steele get defeated. IMHO, that's a true loss.
