Trashing Webb's novel pushed him over. I said it on FR when it happened that it would back fire on Allen and got slammed for it. Next poll showed the flip to Webb.
It kills me. Allen is a true Reagan conservative. I wish he'd pulled it out.

I don't think it was Webb's book. It was the 24/7 negative coverage and distortion of Iraq by the MSM that is giving us so much trouble tonight.
