Well, as you are living in the reddest of all states, I am living in the bluest of all states----New York and you obviously know by now who we elected. I pity you. When the terrorist do attack again, they are very likely to attack Democrat stronghold cities. You are in their cross hairs.

Out here in the rugged, glorious conservative mountain states, the terrorists would be in our crosshairs.

If it makes you feel any better, the Republicans did well in South Carolina. Mark Sanford was reelected on a platform that was essentially extreme fiscal conservatism. That might be a lesson for all Republicans. They even ousted a couple of Democrat incumbents in statewide races. Even the goober that is lieutenant governor won, despite having more self-inflicted bullet holes in his foot than he has teeth (must have been Sanford's coattails).
