"Sheeple" watch mainstream. Mainstream WILL not report fairly. "Sheeple" will elect MORE socialist because mainstream say it is what the majority of the country is doing. We won 04. I'm afraid revenge is being visited tonight. The media has been HAMMERING the left's message for weeks. Lemming voters were out there pulling levers and pushing touch screens. You'd all be amazed how many people still believe every word in newspapers & on the evening news. I have several neighbors who are in the "over 65" group & they believe everything on the TV news! I was amazed and know they all vote RAT.
They are all on S.S. and they don't hear the things we do on FR & conservative radio, they have no idea how their checks are going to shrink & how medicare will be cut.
I don't see a change with the media pumping out lies to these people on a hourly basis, 24/7.

Reynolds was the one tiny bit of good news here. I would not call Reynolds good news. He was the lesser of 2 evils.

Fox is becoming more and more like CNN every day. But even if they are correct about the Republicans losing either or both chambers all I can say is, "that's what you get for ignoring your base and playing the moderate." I've voted Republican for the last 30 years and I did this time as well but I have to say. I'm tired of sending these chumps to Washington and having them ignore the reason I sent them there. They are supposed to represent me and the rest of you that are, like me, sending them there. I want my countries borders closed to criminals and in my book a criminal is anyone that breaks the law INCLUDING our immigration laws. I want marriage to be between a man and a woman ONLY. I want innocent children to stop being sucked into sinks and I want sodomites institutionalized until they are mentally stable enough to be in public and around children. ANNNND I really want to stop playing patticake with our Muslim enemy. They want to kill you, me and every other person that isn't a "Muslim" so I say kill them first and do it in a timely fashion. I want the world to tremble at the sight of an American instead of spitting on us. I want the world to want to be Americans because we are the most advanced, highly educated, powerful nation in the world and the one nation that still has the most to offer those that wish to become a part of this great nation legally. I'm tired of watching it compromised and weakened by a bunch of mambly pamply spineless cowards pretending to be conservatives. I want my "representative government" to do what I send them to Washington to do but instead I am watching the burning of Rome all over again.
May God have mercy on our souls.

Ugggh! I'm going to say what Pelosi said the when Arnold got elected the first time.'' Am I having a nightmare?!!''

Just saw on Fox about Allen. They're apparently pretty confident in the many absentee ballots they have coming in, an unusually large number, I understand. They're also saying there will be a recount.

Now the issue is Iran and if we do have a Democrat House it will be interesting to see if those Dems are willing to defend America against the massive threat from a nuclear-armed Iran. This is a different situation in Iran because their nuclear program is not shrouded in secrecy like Iraq's nuclear program and the Euopeans are solidly on our side. So we'll see if the Dems are willing to defend this nation or whether they try to distort the Iranian threat for political gain. I don't think the Democrats are THAT insane to turn the Iran issue into their political gain, especially since Iran has openly said they will use their nuclear capability to destroy its own enemies. Europe well knows that Iran could very soon launch a nuclear strike as far west as London, and this could set the stage for a ugly war in the Middle East that could wipe out 50% of the world's oil supply unless Iran is stopped.

The wages of Bush-hate are death and higher taxes.
No doubt about it.
Still, terrorists are likely to target big blue Democrat stonghold cities, which is bitter poetic justice, I support.
To: luckystarmom
They certainly didn't run on their acheivements which should have been hammered home constantly for weeks- strangely though, they were pretty silent on the issues.

Cancel all newspapers, turn off the tv. I will considerably cut back on my media intake, take a deep breath, buy more guns, play with my kids, teach my kids to fear Islam. I will do much of the same. Kill some deer and turkeys and eat them. Reload as much ammo as I can afford while I can afford it. Listen to more music and turn off talk radio for a while. Maybe I'll go find a few good books about Teddy Roosevelt. We could use a man like him right now.
Oh well, I can focus on improving my hunting skills now.

Even the Dems know it's too important to throw Iraq to the wolves.
In all my life, I have only met a dozen leftists I would trust with anything.
Of the thousands of others I have met, especially over the last three years - I would trust none of them to be rational about Iraq or the September Eleventh War at all. In fact, I would expect them, if they were in power, to commit serial treason without batting an eye.
I have no friends who are leftists. None. I have to be able to trust a friend.

bet the GOP wishes it had tried to get more of its agenda through when it had the chance. The Period between 2004 and now will go down as one the the Biggest Wasted Opportunities in Political History. I'm convinced that they couldn't possibly have squandered such an opportunity so badly unless they WANTED TO... in other words, the lying bastards didn't really believe the conservative agenda in the first place and had no intention of enacting it. It was just a cynical ploy to get our votes.
I'm shedding no tears. I just wish we could punish Bush somehow for stabbing the conservatives in the back.

Nobody expected the republicans to win every election til the end of time, and if anyone did, it was silly. Politics ebbs and flows. Tonight's a relatively low point. It will turn back around. Anger and some sadness is understandable, but it should be channeled into energy. I, for one, will go into work tomorrow with a smile, and I'll still celebrate my birthday on Friday. :)
