34% of the vote in and the Republican is a WRITE-IN which is slowing the count down. Just because he gave a speech does not mean he won (he currently has 51% to 44%).
But what I'm seeing says 17+ seats went Rat.
Here in Houston there is NO National News coverage of the election. Just loco, I mean local.

Now the Dims need to come forward and show their face...opposed to renewing tax cuts, etc..etc..the Pubs come home to their base and ram it up the Dims ass.

No it won't. Now that the House is Dem. they can now get the amnesty bill that the senate and Bush want. Look for illegal immigration to go thru the roof. More lost jobs, increased gov services for illegals, etc.

Cancel all newspapers, turn off the tv. I will considerably cut back on my media intake, take a deep breath, buy more guns, play with my kids, teach my kids to fear Islam.

The taxes are not all that much lower.
It is Bush's view that 'named' players recommended to him should do the policy making. And he is not so good at getting the right people in the right positions to effect real changes.
The people he surrounded himself with have had no consistent philosophy.
People want real tax reform. Instead they get a more aggressive IRS hellbent on extracting more taxes to close a bloated budget. Audits are up.
People want real border control. Instead they are told illegal aliens are undocumented immigrants who deserve a chance at citizenship.

"Sheeple" watch mainstream. Mainstream WILL not report fairly. "Sheeple" will elect MORE socialist because mainstream say it is what the majority of the country is doing.We won 04. I'm afraid revenge is being visited tonight. The media has been HAMMERING the left's message for weeks. Lemming voters were out there pulling levers and pushing touch screens.
History was against us and there was little chance of gains and a good chance of taking a beating.
At least 5 House seats lost due to idiot candidates. (Delay, Foley, Ney, Sweeney, and I know I am forgetting one)
Lost the Ohio senate seat most likely due to Bob Taft and his corruption. DeWine did not help himself by going RINO but I think Taft screwed very statewide Republican running.
Well, there goes the neighborhood.
