Virginia is reporting 92% precincts in .... so I am calling the Virginia Senate race.
Allen leads 1,052,606
Webb 1,033,221
......this is a 19,000 vote lead.
I am making it official
ALLEN WINS!
There are about 175K votes left to count, and Webb needs to make up nearly 30K votes. It is doable if they are strong Democratic districts.
No automatic recount then!
Hold on - too many Dem strongholds have NOT reported
Still to early lots of liberal areas have not been counted roughly 200k votes left

Take a look at Maryland... The media already has declared Ben Cardin the winner, changing the seat to the Dems, but only 22% of the precents have reported with the vote being Cardin 54% and Steele 45%.
Didn't the media also give the Presidency to Kerry with only 22% of the nation reporting???
exactly, we saw it in 2004 in WA.
VA: 93% of precincts report. Allen lead climbs to 21,000
It 21K with 92.84% reporting. as of the latest refresh. if you want the link for real time let me know.
Foley/Negron looks to have lost now, too.
About half of Arlington (ultra blue) has yet to report in. Allen's in trouble.
I saw that too and after reading the post by LS I think some crow will be eaten again, unless the MSM knows it'll be stolen.
well, I have learned that I can read the numbers at least as good as the Talking TV Pros.....PLUS - I don't have any silly exit polls to polute my analysis.....so I have an edge over those TV guys.
Yes he may win I pray he does, but headlining that the race is called in a vanity is pointless. Whatever, thank God for Virginia.
There are three districts that have yet to report 85% of their vote. In these three districts Allen has 31.79%, 48.78% and 43.38% of the votes counted so far. I am not so optimistic that Allen wins tonight.
That stinks if true. But that will be an easy seat to regain in two years.
not so fast, Webb is behind by 1% and Arlington county only has half their votes in. That's the most Democratic county in the state and heavily populated. I'm terrified for Allen.
VANITY!
Six, its a Senate seat.
yeah, right.
Webb needs to get about 58% of the remaining vote to win. This race will be within 5,000 votes, but I think Allen may hold on by a string.
