Only letting portions of the TV news filter into my hearing; otherwise, it makes me too sick.
Our TX Republican governor was re-elected, from a field of 4 contenders. So, how does our local news team announce that?
"Over 60% of the state told Gov. Perry they don't want him."
You'd think Gov. Hunk would be slinking around the capital gathering his belongings and packing his U-Haul to leave before dawn, the way they spin it!

Wasn't Clinton elected the first time with only 42% of the vote?
That didn't stop him from claiming a mandate even though 58% of the people voted against him.

Hello!!!!! Tough night! We will survive. I am looking forward to kicking some major behind in 2008. Everyone should turn off the news....Although I must admit that between posts, I did listen to the exaggerations coming from the box. (They don't call me a hypocrite for nothing)lol.
