We lost this election because we let the democrats take over the message.

The Iraq situation killed us because the GOP said nothing when the media/rats were calling it a quagmire.

This economy is rocking, and the GOP said almost nothing on the national level. I have been repeating this point relentlessly.

WE had what it took to win, but apparently not the right players.

As much as we hate to lose, it'll just create another revolution.

The bright side is that we shed ourselves of at least a few people who were bad for the cause.

We just have to back up, do the best we can with what we have, and watch in amazement as the population sits back on their hands while the left ruins what we have achieved.

It's been a good 12 years, but we need to regroup, figure out where we went wrong, and do it again.

That is the best comment I have ever heard. One step back, two steps forward. If the Democrats are truly a very liberal bunch, they are now completely unmasked. (I almost want them to win both the House and Senate to let them show their stuff and go to extinction afterward, but the stakes are too high with judges, although with Chafee gone we can be safe at 50 or 51 especially if we get a DINO or two to help us. Remember Nelson and Byrd - both re-elected easily - voted for Alito's confirmation and voted for the marriage amendment)
