A president that had 3 yrs to clean out the Sunni Triangle & played a political correct war & got stung. A president that can't veto a spending bill. A president that won't shut down these disgraceful media outlets for the lies that they spew daily. You're right about Bush. Especially fighting a PC war in Iraq. That says it all. Bush has been so concerned with the traitorous media and Demonrat spin on Iraq and how we fight this war that it has hurt us. But having Demonrats in power will destroy us.
I expect GWB to go hat in hand to the Kennedy et. al., in an effort to "just get along". He has refused to stand up to leftwing democrats for 6 years giving them their "education bill" and Bush family public service awards. It was sickening. Maybe he will get some backbone but it might now be too late.
I would rather have Democrats in charge for a thousand years, than give the President power to shut down a printing press that offends him.

IN one respect I agree with you. Pubbies tend to be too nice too limp...they need strong leadership to carry them along like a Reaganesque figure. Bush is no Reagan for sure but there are hints of the greatness that he did not use effectively.
