Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
LOL. Ping!
Then I can only conclude that the media is getting their numbers directly from the precincts and running their own tallies, or they are getting numbers from the secty of state and for some unknown reason, the secty of state elections office updates their numbers when the spirit moves them.
You are right on 100 percent of these statements. OBTW, when are you running? I would vote for you!!!!
Mope that is DU talk. We the Conservatives did that to Talent. We let hum down. Not someone in another party/philosophy!
Yes, they did, and they received them from the secty of state's office.
Oh fer chrissakes!

..and another Libertarian steeling votes from GOP. This is at least 3 tight Senatorial races that a Libertarian has hurt the GOP.
Like he vetoed the unconstitutional CFR bill...

I share your sentiments but I basically think we have won Iraq to such an extent that it is basically Sunnis that are 'going straight to hell.' I don't say that to justify it but Shiites and Kurds are secure. If we would stay the course, we could minimize the backlash to Sunnis. WE should stay the course, but in the worst case scenarios it will be a Sunni minority that is harmed-- not all 27 million people of Iraq.
Iraq was not lost. It was always won. No media can ever cover up the ultimate success of this war.
Agreed that FR is more gracious and civil than "brand D" sites when things don't go as desired. In the past three elections, the leftist hangouts have been vitriolic in their hatred for the political opposition when they lost, but here it's almost entirely a mature acceptance of reality and a determination to make the best of it.
See you all tomorrow morning bright and early to start this all over again. :^)

What we need to do now is concentrate on 08'
It's pretty normal. Reagan's midterm elections were pretty bad.
I voted straight R... how did we let down the GOP?? Might be the other way around but as far as the Libertarians they DID take crucial votes away from the GOP and they didn't have a chance to win in the first place.
Thanks, didn't know there were any Democrats in Montana. So you think Burns can pull it out?
"We'll now run from Iraq just like we ran from Vietnam."
I said in a High School Paper I wrote in 1981, that we would eventually regret not reacting in a strong and decisive manner toward Iran, and I was proven right by events just 10 short years later, and again on 9/11...
I now predict that it will take a million American Deaths, and the destruction of a major city to bring us as a nation to out senses, and bt then, it will be far too late...
Bush was ABSOLUTELY CORRECT in taking down Saddam, of that I have no doubt.
But it was the DEMOCRATS who decided that selling out America to our enemies was thier ticket back to power....
Any news from Virginia?
CNN and a wide variety of other websites have updated actual vote tallies by county with precincts reporting..it's not just a "call"

Cardin is ahead of Steele by over 130,000 votes with 93% of precincts reporting, and the ONLY places with precincts left are Baltimore City and Prince George's County. Both those places were 76% for Cardin.
God have mercy on our country.
