It looks to be a total washout for the GOP, Webb keeps expanding his lead. Maybe I'll wake up tomorrow and see that Burns pulled it out in Montana but I'm not counting on it.

I would place the lion's share of the blame on Taft. Then the fact that the Republican establishment didn't back him.
His nomination was a real conservative grassroots effort, but he didn't get the support he needed, and he couldn't pry himself away from Taft's disaster..........even though he fought it all the way.

Yes, I know that I voted for him in fact it was about the only Republican I did not have to hold my nose while voting for him. However, the sentiment around here is too little too late. Should have bounced him sooner and all that.

Yes. It's the only thing they haven't been able to control, Air America tanked despite Soros pouring millions into trying to save it... the only way the conservative message is getting out these days is conservative radio and the internet -- and we are not as good on the internet as the DNC... They want the WH in 2008 and will do anything to get it.
