"Yeah, how'd that 2008 favorite of 'true conservatives' George Allen do tonight? "

He was no favorite of mine.

"Giuliani has supported the President on most issues and hasn't backstabbed him once."

Guiliani is a liberal. End of story.

Yep Politics is a dirty cesspool and forget all the talk of civility, it seems Americans respond only to dirty politics.

Dems and the MSM indulge in all kinds of nasty tactics while Republicans are often contended with playing nice guys. This election shows that this has not worked, Republicans need to get down and dirty and fight every attack with a heavy response.

its the politically smart move - set yourself as the winner, so any recount makes it appear as if the challenger is trying to "steal it".

I think that's wrong. When the returns are in I think it's going to show a large turnout. But lots of Republicans voted D.

Watch for how Catholics voted. My guess is we lost 'em...Bigtime.

I'm surprised my county reported as quickly as it did. Bunch of bluehair pollworkers trying to count 200 some ballots.

It's about a 1% margin; Wulsin hasn't conceded.

Chabot (CD-1) also won, but Ohio generally was a disaster.

Blackwekk was crushed by over 20 points and DeWine by 11. They even passed the freaking nannystate anti-smoking amendment.

Burns not dead yet, closing fast:

He's behind Tester 51-47 with 60% in. When 35% was in, he was behind by 8%/ At this rate, he will pass jim. There are no urban Dem hold-back areas in MT. The rest is ranchers and farmers.

"Who might that be?"

I missed the beginning of the program However I think he was from Utah and is a Republican in the house, but I am not sure.

I tuned in because I saw on FR that 60s minutes was doing a hit piece on the Republican congress but actually it was a fairly even hit piece on both parties on their big spending ways and especially EARMARKS. (Well even when you consider that 60s minutes is a liberal piece of dung show, they did come down on a few Democrats but it was mostly hammering on Republican spending and the EARMAKRS.)

Santorum was one of the most conservative members of the Senate.

Not!!!

He was the sponsor of the Prescription Drug Pandering act and instead of opposing the No Child Left Alone bill he tried to sneak in replacing science with mythology.

I can stomach voting for any "RINO" if that got us over the hump.

Not Chaney.

A Jeffords in waiting. He's a feckless tool who only left the R by his name because he is a moral coward.

Well, at least this time you kept it polite enough to keep the post from being deleted.....

I always expect vile from you. Congratulations on becoming 'socially acceptable'...........sort of.

Pray for our troops and our strong, courageous Commander in Chief. They're going to need it with traitors in control of Congress.

Hope you're happy.......the President needs to be punished, right? Why not take the troops down with him?

"It was an equal opportunity rout. And it was brought about by dissatisfaction on the part of the sheeple over the Iraq war."

....as reported by the MSM. (tiny edit, big dif)

But, thanks for your comments.

Jobs have been offshored for 30+ years now...

And they have been OUT-FORCED almost entirely from LEFTIST policy...

Over-taxation, over-unionization, over-regulation, inane enviro laws, and Unlimited Civil liabilty have all contributed to this, as well as the "Standardized Shipping Container"...

These policies have destroyed the heavily unionized Industries, and the NEXT crisis coming is in government...
