Reagan got Antonin Kennedy through in 1988 with a Democratic Senate. "Antonin" wrote the Kelo decision. That same Senate Borked Bork.
I like your use of "Antonin" though. Is he a friend of Borat? Regardless, he ruled that "all your eminent domain are belong to us, comrade."
We don't need any more "Antonins" or any other Commie takers of private property on SCOTUS, thank you very much.

I predict an interest rate cut in order to keep the democrat presence from tanking the ecconomy...

I know you have an enormous ego, but Miers withdrew because she was doing poorly in the Senate interviews. And Bush quickly nominated Alito without any input from you personally.
YOU had nothing to do with it.

Absolutely, I remember the Khmer Rouge. That must never happen again. What will become of the Iraqis? The Kurds? I just pray we don't abandon the Kurds yet again.

I think it was a combination of things. The Republicans upset the fiscal conservatives by spending money to try and buy votes. They've always run against big spending Dems, but when in control of all three branches, spent more than the Dems. They seriously hurt themselves on border security, by not addressing it before it was a major hot button.
However, this is probably an historical trend that is in line with normal six year Presidential cycles. We'll survive.

Bush will veto a tax increase. You mean just like his Dad? /s
Harold Ford is conceding and FoxNews would rather interview McCain again so they can't listen to his "moderate" message.
The GOP is back in the minority for another 40 years.

Armey and Danforth have been two of the only Republicans I know of willing to oppose the Christian idiots publicly I see losing brings the bigots out of the woodwork.

If it is McPain vs. Hillary, you hold your nose and vote for McCain. Then go home and take a shower.
Anyone Republican, even Rudy would be better than Hillary.

"There are at least 3 dozen Democrats in the House who know that voting to cut and run in the WOT would mean they're out of a job come 2008. The Dems do not have the votes to cut funding for the WOT." Heheheh Think about it for a minute, there will be NO VOTES BY any Democrat to do ANYTHING with IRAQ, however there will be man many many many many calls from Pelosis and crew for President Bush to bring home the troops!
The Demos with the aide of the MSM will win that battle without ever firing a shot.
There will be polls on bringing home the troops Tomorrow... and you can bank that one baby!

Well, thank God conservatives keep country clubber Bush somewhat honest. Or are you applauding no vetoes, amnesty, CFR and out of control spending?

Dems won't be able to block Janice Rogers Brown or a conservative Hispanic. Basically, it comes down to, does Bush have the gall to nominate a conservative minority, because that's what it will take. NOT Alberto Gonzales!
