Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
Oh, yes! And the pajamahadijn hadn't even been formed yet. The gauntlent has been thrown and a saavy America will be watching!
49/51 Dems, correct?
Yes, Kucinich. Thank you.
I could swear that's what I heard, but now they are saying the total favors Webb, but by that tiny margin. Again, we won't really know until a moon or two have passed.
Obviously, they don't know what's at stake...and how would they? Really, unless they're news junkies like we are, all they hear, 24/7 is what a disaster the war is. Hell, I'd think the same way if I didn't keep up as much as I do.
She tossed around some serious cash. She will be the nominee.
Who is on the GOP that can beat her?
Santorum is done and so is Allen. Even if he eeks it out.

Rummy stays
Not only that ... the libs want to get rid of the electoral process .. which is also why they were working so hard on the local elections also
Then there are the governorship ... who get to appoint state judges
And That's just the tip of it
Folks on our side need to think outside of the box before they try to teach the GOP a lesson
We need James (Jim) Inhofe.
But you have to be political just to try to defend yourself. There are those who think that the state is a god, your life and your family are government property and having any private interests at all is subversive. These people never rest. They will take away everything you value if they can.
Not true at all... I think we have a much more exciting field of potential candidates than the retreads over at the DNC.
Crisis = danger + opportunity
"Moving the nation to the right is for you, a 'hard pill to swallow?'"
A massive expansion of the welfare state is hardly "moving the nation to the right".
"Why would anyone want a 'new direction'?"
Apparently, lots of people want one.
I agree with the good points you posted. But as many are stating here, seems there was just too much disappointment over illegal immigration, out of control spending, and the war lasting longer than many had thought with casualties and injuries almost everyday.
I did vote for my Republican governor this election, but he lost too. Other local Republican choices I voted for were mixed...some won, some lost.
Instead of launching attacks on us they can now just walk on in and take what they want, like in Europe.
I lived through all of that once, it's too much to bear, to have to relive it.
that's not what I heard, I like your version better. Maybe there's still hope.
The democrats will go for "sampling" rather than enumeration.
Looked at FNC, it is as if all their loonies have crawled out of the woodwork with Shepart Smith at the cockaroach ring master.
It is erramerikaTV on their panel.
