Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
""This is truly an election between the Media and the Republican party. Never in my lifetime have I seen a time when the media makes no effort to hide its bias. The media constantly presents the Democratic talking points as fact. They have never done that before."
This isn't true at all. The media have been pro-liberal for as long as I can remember and that is going back over 50 years.
Dont be depressed. You could be Ned Lamont. You lost and blew $12 million bucks of your own $ for nothing.
Believe this is wishful thinking by the dems...
Two people in my family are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. The third is in South Korea.
VA website:
Allen 1,141,753

CNN:
Webb 1,143,144
Allen 1,140,879
?
one has to be wrong Allen can't go down in numbers
and through a temper tantrum on National TV when she lost and today is trying to say she was joking.. she is married to Tim Mcgraw and she is from Mississippi and both have been vocal in blaming Bush for Katrina which IMO alianated their 'base.' Thus McGraw didn't even get a nod this year even with a huge selling album and she was shut out, even though she was nominated.... our politicians could learn a lot from these things and the American Public.
This women is a moron...she's on the radio now with weasel words like "the people wanted change" and "bipartisanship"...blah blah blah.
But when the GOP wins they say it's "hatred" and "division", etc.
Now Nancy is saying the Dems will run the "cleanest Congress ever"...blah blah blah.
More buzzwords: New Direction, Change, Americans Win, New Leadership, Prepared to Govern, Working Together with GOP (right) with Partnership not Partisnanship (yeah right), Change again, Do Things Differently, Working Together again to Build the Future....Change In Iraq, blah blah blah.
"Today we've made history, now let's make progess"...What a blowhard.

7)more than 6)
"Younger conservatives don't seem to understand politics is give and take, not just all take."
I don't give when it comes to abortion, especially in the area of federal judges. Do you think I should compromise that just so "moderates" can get elected?
I don't get it either but am done for the night. Burns is sucking it up and the last thing I need to hear is that Ford rallied.
Piffle!
You may be right, I may have misunderstood the announcer on WPAB, but I know that WABC said exactly that right before they were going to go to Nancy Pelosi's victory speech.
What I really can't take is JD Hayworth losing in AZ ..What theb heck!!
"Allen lost 874 votes. to lose the race"
I feel sick now.
Good news for Talent...we hope.
Why does it seem that the heavily Dem inner city precincts almost always come in last? That always seemed suspicious to me. Comments?
Good. I hope they do pull out. Put the union thugs out on the street. They make lousy cars anyway. Nothing good ever came out of Ohio.
That's very true. I think Pelosi herself is another big card in the deck. She herself can make or break it as Speaker. If her San Francisco views (BTW, she is viewed as a moderate there despite being hard-left to us) drown out centrist Democrats, then the GOP will have ammunition to retake Congress AND to maintain the White House.
