Watching the Military Channel. Who knows how long some of these extra cool weapons will continue to be built.

some of these soldiers are going to start wondering whether the american people (on the whole) are worthy of their sacrifices - and in a volunteer military, they may decide not to participate. I can't blame them if they were to decide that. I have been beginning to wonder why I should encourage my sons to serve their country when said country is about to abandon the troops in the field for the second time.

Brit isn't cheery. When I was 13, I smiled during my grandmother's funeral.

They may have gotten the dozen or more call in three hours like I did.....Told them the first time they call, I'd already voted.....If not I may have voted in protest just because of the annoyance.

Remember.....Minnesota elected Jesse (the body) Ventura as Governor not too long ago. That says a lot!

I hope so. Being a "real conservative" doesn't excuse you if you do nothing but spend and take money from crooked lobbyists.

Doctor, I had a nightmare last night that the democrats won the house and the senate. If it comes true does that mean I'm psychic?
To: Vicomte13
Ronald Reagan would not have presided over this debacle.Ronald Reagan presided over a worse debacle in 1986.
To: Mo1
Don't give up! We need to hold the Democratic House accountable, and most importantly, watch to see where they move. If they move too far left, that opens it up for a bludgening in 2008.
To: Howlin
Never happen..It's still being said on this thread.

(Americans have been voting for "free luch economics" and big government for 20+yrs, at a minimum)
FoxNews is STILL projecting Dems winning over Erlich and Steele in MD.
I thought they pulled those?

I don't really care.
The religious republicans lost it, the fiscal ones won.
Lesson to be learned.

That's interesting - those numbers are higher than the official website. Maybe they include absentee ballots...
To: PhilipFreneau
Man, that is ridiculous and way over the top. Maybe you're just letting the bad night get to you? So maybe for now, you need to STFU?
