Maybe next election cycle we'll all work harder to feed into your pessimism. Would that work for you?

Fancy FNC graphic has 'rats taking control of House.
All that was missing were the party hats, balloons and confetti.
To: DoughtyOne
MANY people have said this before and I will repeat it again now: If McCain gets the nomination in '08 he WILL NOT get my vote.
No way.
No how.
Not under any circumstances.
Not even if the only other name on the ballot is H. Clinton.
No... effing.... way.

Fox is calling the house for the dems. There are 2 GA races that may put that in doubt.

I've been thinking of Spain all day and I honestly believed that when people were in the privacy of the voting booth they would give more thought to our military and the WOT.
Clearly, I was wrong.

I agree. But, it is a shame that Iraq has destroyed the Republicans in this election. The President really underestimated the MSM and the dems anti-American fervor. The President never could admit to himself that the dems would do anything, ANYTHING to get their power back including ensuring our loss in Iraq. After election 2004, he allowed the MSM and dems unrestricted, uninterrupted attack time that cut, cut, cut away at support for our efforts in Iraq. So true. Like his father. I kept responding here giving my view that GW is weak & not responding to his conservative base. He set this agenda & the little followers either had to get in step or be ostracized. This loss came from the top over yrs of miscalculation of what communist can do.

ALL elections have been getting closer and closer since 2000.
Except for Arnold's win here in CA; they announced it 2 minutes after the polls closed.

Santorum and Weldon were two of the best men in the entire legislature; true honest straight-shooting Representatives in the mold of the founders.
Agreed. Their loss is America's loss.
