Sadly, I think the next great awakening will be a major terrorist attack on our country. How many dead will it take for Americans to wake up? 3 million?
Haven't you heard? Islam is a peaceful religion. At least that was the disclaimer at the beginning of the Fox documentary(Obsession) this past weekend.

Well judging by the amount of surprise in this thread, it wasn't obvious to everybody. Even Delay's district is lost.

That's what I've been thinking, that the Dems need to be careful what they wish for, cuz they just might get it.
Bashing Bush and poo-pooing the Repubs won't cut it anymore and they'll actually have to come up with something substantive.
I hope Bush can handle them better than Frist did.

With Fox declaring the Dem wins DeLay's seat, the Dems take control of the House. So there it is. Very sad but hopefully America will survive.
What is wrong with those people in Delay's district electing that lefty Democrat?? I hope they can take him out in 2 years.

You would have preferred McCain or Gore?
Those were your choices.....

Next time the GOP has to do a write-in campaign for a seat, they oughta - first and foremost - find somebody to run named "Smith" or "Jones."

And if we hold onto the Senate, we're in pretty good shape, all things considered
Yes, that's what I'm hoping for. A toughened up Senate however...not a pansy fickle one.
