Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
They all need to get out of DC for sure, but they are nowhere as bad as CNN or MSNBC that went 24/7 for the DNC the last six weeks.... starting tomorrow it will continue to brainwash the public on who to vote for in '08. Sad, but we have an uneducated population who don't even know who have the representative are and what they are doing.
The Man of Steele is an up-and-comer.
This country may be coming to an end. It cannot survive with that type of leadership.

Unfortunately, yes they are.
And the Republicans can't win without the Libertarian wing of the party. Somehow we need to figure out how to compromise, but the big-government social right won't consider bending even a little.
If the leadership of the Republican Party does not know what the base is all about, they need to resign, immediately. It does not take a stellar intellect to recognize there is little party discipline or political strategy based on a long view of history. If you want power, you do whatever it takes to secure it. If you want power, you eliminate the opposition. If you want power, you make it impossible for anyone to dislodge you from your position.
I thought we'd get at least one of those. Don't the voters know that a vote for even a "conservative" democrat is a vote for Pelosi for speaker?
This just in.....

Maryland is divided between fanatically Republican and Fanatically Democratic areas, and I strongly suspect it's Baltimore City that will be the last to report.
That's how we see it, but I don't know how you buckle down if you're not the majority. Sure we can whimper from the nearest corner, but we won't be leading out like we should have for the last twelve years.
Well, let's hope we don't have to face that.
No, sweetie, just wine. His "projections" put Webb in the lead. Just like with Ford. They refuse to call it....why?
He was also a near-100% certainty to vote for any conservative Supreme Court nominee President Bush cared to make.
This "good-riddance RINO" stuff is awfully short-sighted.
Weldon lost in PA.
Called how?
Concentrate to what effect?
In other words, this is a discussion thread, so if you want to throttle discussion, I have a greeting for you:
Shut up.
Quote: "It's not that bad."
Especially when viewed in historical terms vis-a-vis past Presidents in their sixth year.
She's at 70%
The dow will tank tomorrow.

But have they already been counted? Are they counted concurrent from each precinct? Or seperately, or later???????? This is a very serious and big question in many of these states, and nobody seems to know anything about it.
Whatever happens, Corker is going to be a lonely Republican Freshman.
