Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
I blame Oprah.
Too bad Granholm won.
I'm ready to try again. This time we will do it with hugh peaceful liberation marches like the world has never seen. They would have to let us go.
Disagree with you. The same could be said of extreme conservatives.
That's going to help the economy, isn't it?
CBS now has Steele-Cardin tied at 49.
Chaffe's out - YAYAYAYAY!!!! and the media is spinning it as a "serious anti-Iraq message sent to the Bush Admin". LOL
Lieberman won - LOLOLOLOLOL! Can we spin that as a "serious PRO-Iraq message to the Dems"? lol
Indeed. A month ago the pundits were predicting a slaughter. Now that the votes are being counted, it is very, very close and could go either way. We have come back strong, and the Democrats have to be disappointed at their lack of mandate.
That adds up to 436. There's 435.
Like eight years of Clinton? Come on.
It's ironic that Republicans are so willing to stand up to and fight Islamist psychopaths, yet completely unwilling and spineless when it comes to dealing with demonrats. It's like we are in bizarro world.

Well said.
Never heard it put quite that clear. It's infuriating.
This is all for tomorrow and the next day, but the problem was not conservatives or Republicans not showing up at the polls. We lost independents by roughly 60-40, particularly suburban married women who are weary of the war in Iraq and who were stupid enough to vote against their own husband's paycheck.
Plus the 6-year itch, and seen in historical context, we are doing extremely well, particularly if we hold the Senate.

J H Webb Jr Democratic 1,038,154 48.92%
wow, Webb hill have to take something like 60% of the rest in order to win....looking good.
Yet, day after day the battle here on FR when we discuss possible '08 candidates indicate most will never vote for anyone not 1000% conservative and in '08 that attitude will hand the WH to Hillary Clinton and that is what she is counting on. And before anyone trounces me, I'm very conservative, but a realist and we need that other 30% to win in '08.
Why have they lost 24% of their audience? There is a reason and those numbers are from neilsen.
LLS
yeah sure, let's have a Santorum/Katherine Harris ticket for 2008 - that will really wipe the floor with the Dems.
Well, I won't click over to MSDNC, but I assume he's ensconced on the panel as the "Republican" representative.
LOL!
