Connecticut ping!
OMG... Fox News is reporting that Chris Murphy wins over long-time Representative Nancy Johnson. I really think her commercials went too far this time... too negative. Damn, she used to be our Congresswoman, but we got "redistricted" to 'RAT John Larson's district.
Say what you will about Nancy Johnson... I know she's a RINO. My husband and I have met her several times and she spent considerable time at my husband's former business... this woman is a workhorse. What a loss... :-(
Please Freepmail me if you want on or off my infrequent Connecticut ping list.
Depends on how bad the margin gets to be today. Right now it is looking like the Dems will pick up 20 - 30 seats. The closer it is to 20, the better our chances of retaking the House in '08.
All the more dramatic!
No, let me correct you, Flip. George W. Bush made his REALLY big mistake when he didn't concede the 2000 election when Little Al started crying. THAT was his big mistake. He had the nerve to say, NO I won't lay down for the liars. See, if he had done that we'd be in hog heaven now, probably with fewer skyscrapers but happy as clams.
I thought we were going to pick up a lot with the last census shift. What happened?
any of you guys listening to Tim Russett?
World Trade Center, February 23rd, 1993.
How quickly we forget.
Anyone heard what turnout numbers have been like? In comparison with the average off-year election?
I think I'll leave that note unresponded to. It honestly sounds like the post of a brittle person.
Take care...
I don't think the VA race will be over tonight - because of the absentee/military ballot issue. but those should trend to Allen.
Who called it?
I'm sick and can't even finish my beer.
What I have seen here, even at the gun range, is a lot of old vets remember what happened in Vietnam, and quite a few of the younger guys see it happening in Iraq.
You're not alone, he seems downright giddy.
I fear that our country will not come back to its senses until one or more of its cities is vaporized. Which the Democrats will blame on Republicans, to the nodding approval of the media,
I was rooting for Shays to lose and Johnson to win. Sadly, it is reversed, and we have to put up with that son of a bitch for another 2 years.
Oh, man. I turned off the TV two hours ago. Didn't know about Ehrlich.
I want to move to Texas, too.
