Webb has to win about 53% of what's left to win. That's my source - mathematics. Unlikely.

I can't believe it. Fox actually called a race for Buchanan, a Republican who is leading in Florida. How did they manage to do that?

The MSM succeeded in making the election about the war.
They tried to make it about halliburton, enron, yellow cake, katrina, and then finally they made it about Iraq.
Once again they did their dirty work for the haters of democracy.

I would say by ridding the party of DeWine and Chaffee we are making some progress in getting rid of deadwood RINOs

About 380 Precincts left in Virginia.
60 in Virginia Beach City, which Bush won by 20 points.
30 in Loudon County
30 in Heirico County
34 in Hanover Country (Bush by forty points)
12 in Franklin County
50 in Prince William Country (went for Bush by six)
40ish in assorted Dem counties
And a scattering elsewhere. It looks good for Sen. Allen.

Rats needed a net gain of +6 to win Senate and they're only going to get a net gain of +4. We keep the Senate. Time to worry about the House...
Why do you think the liberal media are refusing to call Virginia and Missouri? They already know that Montana is a loss and are just playing games.
To: hole_n_one
Why in the heck did they use them for that long then?
For the drama?

It makes me feel sick about the Dems might be a majoriry but the people decide. We have a lot of people in the Republican Party who have done the work FOR the DNC; some of them right here on this site.
To: All
I remember when Santorum first ran for the senate. About 11:00 that night the local stations called the race for the Dem candidate. However when the morning came Rick had won the election!

I really hope that's not true. :(
On an unrelated note, I know we've never gotten along real well, and we have different visions of how things should go with respect to the Party, but I do think we are both on the side of good, so if at times I get a little upset, please don't hate me too much for it, ok? ;)
To: Gondring
Actually, I'm listening Liberman being projected byt the AP, and they say it's its based on "statistical analysis of interviews" AP=CNN=FOX they have the same exit interview data
To: ground_fog
The old media will not celebrate because their grand illiusion will fail.
Exit polls will be spit upon.
