You're looking at old numbers.
Arlington is now 88% in.
That's why Webb got that big bump.

FOX not using exit polling anymore.....interesting. Like to pull back any of those previous calls??
To: ican'tbelieveit
Yep. I just saw an AP report on NJ.com. They already called it for Menendez :(
To: StJacques
FNC just said their call for Cardin had nothing to do with the exit polls.

Barone is now saying that they are not going to use exit polls to make calls.

[projections based on samples of ACTUAL VOTES is a statistically sound method]
And the accuracy of the results is directly related to the samples being representative. When vote samples come as batches of individual precincts which can be heavily Democratic or heavily Republican or something in between that makes it very difficult to predict just how representative the sample is and therefore skews the projections in unpredictable ways.

Copy that, TV is turned to a movie now. I can't believe they're calling winners with less than 1% of a vote in.
To: A Citizen Reporter
Barone just said the exit polls that FNC was using to project winners is crap.
Dems oversampled by as much as 7%
To: Purrcival
That is really good news if Allen and Lieberman have won.
Excellent news if Allen has won. I couldn't care less about Lieberman. He's a Democrat and will vote for Reid to be leader of the Senate.

True........what the heck are they making these projections on, such as Brown and now they are projecting Steele will lose despite it being very close.
At least I could swear Steele seemed very close.

FOX just announced that they will no longer be using exit polls to call races as they have found a 6-8% Democrat bias.
Rocket science there I tell 'ya.
