Great to be here....thanks ! :)
Mehlman sounds quite optimistic...it is encouraging.
This pendulum of emotions is quite a ride...lol.
It just dumped in. Narrowed it, but Allen still holds a 10,000 vote lead.
We can lose 5 and still have control
Then we keep the senate, even with a loss in Montana. And maybe Steele voters lied to the exit pollsters and it ends up -3. Good news.
Is CBS calling it for Cardin?
Just remember how long they took to declare Bush the winner in any state in the eastern time zone in 2004.
They do not seem to be happy campers about that.
Yo big change for Allen, a NOVA county must of come in, now down to a 10k vote lead.
Statewide Totals
Brown, Sherrod Democratic 4,242 52.91%
DeWine, Mike Republican 3,774 47.07%
Precincts Reporting: 0.31% 8,017
AT better than 73%, Allen is actually increasing his lead. :)
For what its worth. I just returned from working as an election judge in a largely republican precinct in Central Missouri. The vote was huge. The republican vote was larger than the democrat vote but the margin was not what it is normally. Comments heard from voters in line were very negative to the Iraq War. I think that was a key factor in the election in our precinct. Its a shame that this has not been handled better than it was because the conservative movement has been hurt by the inability of this administration to handle the war. This is only one precinct so can not predict from the result there.

LOL Hugh is a FReeper or lurker???
Kinky's a loon...and one tough Grandma ran deceptive ads. Bell has the personality of a turnip...
Allen's lead shrinks to 9,000 with 77.16% counted.
That is what I am talking about,.........hold NJ.........any news from the Mna of Steele in Maryland?
Have they projected Allen as the winner? I haven't caught up with everything on the thread and I'm not near the TV, at the moment. That is really good news if Allen and Lieberman have won.
